@reeferchiefer91 there great the sound is some times better than dvd the pic is like a dvd pic in the early days of dvd.and things that never made it to dvd laserdisc is the best way to watch them.
I just bought a player yesterday. CLD-D703 now I have to start getting a few. I wish I had some to trade but I don't. Hopefully I can snag a few and do some trades.
Where did you get the Video Essentials disc? I plan on buying an LD player but I need a disc like that to calibrate my display. LD black levels are calibrated completely different then DVD or Blu Ray.
Interesting! Ive never actually seen a laser disc.
