I just got the Season 1 DVD set(for $5 at Wal Mart believe it or not) and they don't use this theme song on there. They changed it with some crappy techno type song. To bad, as this song works much better. I would assume they couldn't get or afford the rights to the song for the DVD release.

Both shows were scripted in early 2004 and were scheduled to air at the same time but the millionaire that the BBC(UK) were after was busy taking over a famous supermarket so they got the next best alternative in Sir Alan Sugar. That delayed the launch of the UK Apprentice.
