What??? She's not too big. Ponies were bred to carry people and huge heavy packs. They're just as strong as horses, often stronger. Ponies smaller than that can carry dead sheep and deer that weight far more than her.
The only thing I object to is the canoe tied to the tail. Tying anything to an animal's tail is a terrible idea. She should be holding the rope or have it tied to the saddle.
Yea. The pony looks alright. But the woman might want a bigger one. And is it just me, or she looked like she was using the reins to much. Try using your seat and legs more. Turning a horse's head does nothing if they don't want to go that way. It is a good way to fall though.
The pony looks pretty healthy. He's obviously not being hurt. He looks like he doesn't mind his job either. The tail thing is a little...odd...but if you've ever had to help a cast horse you know he can stand a tug or two on the tail...doesn't look like a heavy load either. And he's not a cat...he can muck about in water just fine. What's cruel? A wormy pony without food, water, exercise, companions, foot, tooth and vet care...this little guy looks like he's doing fine.
That looks like a healthy pony. The woman sees the horses approaching so she pats the pony's neck as reassurance. She is not hitting the pony. I'm sure the pony would rather be in a meadow of clover...but I don't see the pony being abused. He does not seem to be struggling with the weight of his cargo...and if you ever pulled a boat in the water you know there is less tension on the tail then a "tail up the hill" in an endurance ride.

what goes around comes around and when it comes aruond u keep wondering why me. its because of the karma u did and u keep wondering why me. this woman is sitting and being abusive on the horse. who knows maybe she or her kids have to pay the price for the cruelity she is doing. law of karma
you can be cruel to someone who is weaker as u know the weaker cant do much but one has to pay the price of whatever they do. if not to this woman but its possible then whatever karma this woman is doing, her sons or daughter have to pay the price of it in future.
With the tail pull thing, it doesn't even look like it's pulling that much on the tail.
The horse looks happy and healthy :)
Plus the woman does not seem to big.
