I went to a Sikh temple a few years ago on a cultural field trip. The people there were so nice to me. I felt very comfortable around them and they fed me till I almost burst! LOL. The little children would just come up to me and tell me their name as they shook my hand. I know that no one is perfect, so each mentality is different, but for the most part, I left with a great view of sikhs.
Maybe you can start to understand why I want a law passed banning all cults from the state.

Guru made Khanda (sword) the Kalka, a Hindu goddess. There is a story behind this where Guru Ji had asked the Pandits to make Kalika appear. When they could not, Guru Ji told them it is only Khanda (sword) that is the real Kalka, that will protect them, no other godess is coming to protect them.

In which the 40 Sikhs along with Guru Gobind Singh ji face a huge army of 10,000 Mughals and came up victorious. Many people dont know about this story bcoz you cant make a movie with someone playing a role of our Gurus. So this story went almost untold and unheard.

I went to a Sikh temple a few years ago on a cultural field trip. The people there were so nice to me. I felt very comfortable around them and they fed me till I almost burst! LOL. The little children would just come up to me and tell me their name as they shook my hand. I know that no one is perfect, so each mentality is different, but for the most part, I left with a great view of sikhs.

We dont follow Hindu principles than why are we a part of Hindus. WHy cant RSS say that Sikhism is a seperate religion but we shud live together united. The Epics mention the Astronomical positions of Stars alligned during the time by great sages. Using these stellar positions (Which can allign once every 11,000 years) Archaeologists have concluded Ramayana took place around 7000 B.C and Mahabharat around 3500 BC. Uncovering of iron and bronze artifacts at Ayodhya and Hastinapur (A Battlefield in Mahabharat) proves the same.

The line means:
Guru made Khanda (sword) the Kalka, a Hindu goddess. There is a story behind this where Guru Ji had asked the Pandits to make Kalika appear. When they could not, Guru Ji told them it is only Khanda (sword) that is the real Kalka, that will protect them, no other godess is coming to protect them.

@sesshy34 Almost Everone has seen the movie 300 and really appreciate the Spartans. But very few people know the story of "40 Mukte". In which the 40 Sikhs along with Guru Gobind Singh ji face a huge army of 10,000 Mughals and came up victorious. Many people dont know about this story bcoz you cant make a movie with someone playing a role of our Gurus. So this story went almost untold and unheard.
