So many things (like Gene's boot) always broke on this show. And the reactions of the panel helped to make the Match Game the most entertaining game show of all time. They didn't get much done on the show, but it was very entertaining.
It looks like the zipper burst, probably from too much pressure being placed on it. Considering Gene's manic energy as he jumps about the set in every episode, I'm surprised this didn't happen more often!
You what ? I think we are seeing the same Match Game 75 Episodes that we left off at 11PM before the new Family Feud started am I right ? Because I saw these on the night time Match Game 75
I don't remember exactly where they stopped playing MG75 in the current FF slots, but I do know that Charles Nelson Reilly should be back on the panel the first week of August. I started watching MG75 in that old timeslot and it finally occurred to me to start taping them about a week before FF took over, so I'm looking forward to seeing some of these as these reach the afternoon rotation.
Sooo ! What if Gene does the whole in his socks ,wouldn't you have done the same thing if your shoes had messed up or something ? As for me , I would have done it .
I'm waiting for the episode where Gene gives his socks away to a woman in the audience. That was a riot! Should be airing in the afternoon slot in just a few short months.
I wish Gene took off his socks too !
