It wasn't the greatest anime based on a game, but it was still pretty good. Hopefully maybe they'll get around to making another season someday, preferably based on the first game. That bit in the opening sequence where they showed him fighthing Phantom looked badass!

w00t! I loved these! Who cares if the episodes didnt really connect or relate to anything. It was freakin awesome anyway. Like little mini stories with a badass hafl-demon and his little adoptive-sister/maid/pain in the rear. And of course his two chicks. But I personally liked his attitude and the way he looked (lol, dont judge me!) in the anime. But, then again, Dante always-ALWAYS-is kickass.

Come on, the trailer makes DMC look like a typical monster hunting anime. In other words, trailer does a very bad job.

"Demons are trying to take over the world" Er, not really. That line makes Dante look like a legendary hero prophecized or something liked that.

No, Dante is more like a Ghostbuster with guns and sword, albeit a very cool hunter.

This series was soooo disappointing for two reasons. One, Dante never goes Devil Trigger and two, I tried a strawberry sundae and it wasn't as badass as Dante made it out to be... =(

HAHA! I guess it just depends on your tastes and where you get them. I need to have mine covered in strawberries. It was pretty disappointing that he never went devil trigger...that and it wasn't all that exciting and you could kinda tell what was gonna happen next
