  • the corvette has 750 horse power my friend was the driver.

  • Lmao off at people thinking it was the porsche fault. The corvette driver was playing rough. Cutting corners, bumping him. It's not like they are going slow. If that was ANYONE who is commenting driving the Porsche they wouldn't have even made it round the last bend.

  • Now,if you look at Bergmeister's exit of turn 11 every lap before the last lap you see he goes just over the rumble strip. ok look at where he ends up after getting bumped, he doesnt even reach the rumble strip so the bump from Mag. barely did anything to his exit of the corner so he is in the wrong for over-slowing the corner and getting bumped so he had no business nearly killing a fellow racecar driver. period. 1 season suspension, thank you very much.

  • really?! clearly the tire on the vette are gone while the porsche still have tire left, there are couple turns the vette need to get in dirt the tire just to keep up. it's not that the porsche is slow on the last corner, who will know the vette is playing dirty, look at the last corner, you will see the porsche counter-steer to balance out the bump. this is a bad move on the vette.

  • this is intense shit! i love it

  • clearly the Corvette is superior!

  • Bergmeister is a bitch. There is another video floating around on here when Bergmeister was squeezed towards the wall and his team screamed bloody murder over it. Now he does, "its all cool bro, that's legit"

  • Who else was hoping that the Corvette won its class backwards and in pieces

  • it´s not okay that the corvette crash the porsche in the last corner into the porsches .because of the crash the porsche has been drift and loose many speed so he denfanse himself and close the door for the corvette . the corvett dont break and crash into the wall !!! porsche win ! nice ! corvette sucks !

  • @jan92ist i'm guessing english is like your 8th language. your grammar blows. you should also look at the ways the cars are set up. you cant say that one car company sucks and the other rules. tbh, the vette is a v8 and the porsche is a flat six. the corvette was bad sportsmanship, but the porsche hit him on turn 2, forcing him off. also, compare only the cars that have the most similarities, otherwise its comparing apples to bananas.

  • corbette would have won that!

  • Covette is dirty & rough & very trouble.

    Die.

  • some retarded comments here, very few ppl have a clue about motor racing here

  • de quitarse el sombrero

  • Wasnt this on discovery for the corvette runnin on etanol or something?

  • The corvette was faster period but the porsche can get out of turns faster and put traction down out of the turns. Corvette has a harder time sticking to the road after turns to put the pedal down so he had to bump to make it far game. Then porsche knew he would loose it so he crashed him. End of story. Bad sportsmenship

  • @nimaxx38 what the corvette was trying to do in turn 11 was bad sportsmenship too, so why should the prosche take a backseat and let the corvette win with the unfair move?

  • thats fucking bullshit. Porshe didnt get a flag on that. the Covette had that shit.

  • @nimaxx38 and you are American?

  • Was this race 24 hours, or 6?

  • @PapaHett 6 i think

  • Up until the last corner, that was just really good racing- Magnussen trying hard to pass, and Bergmeister doing a great job defending. But when the Jan went into turn 11, he had no intention of passing; he didn't get inside the 911 and slide up. He hit him square in the rear, which means his intent was to either spin the Porsche or force him to kill his corner exit. the #3 tried to steal the win, and while the #45's move was more violent, it was his only option to steal back the win he earned.

  • @2jz how many times was the vette pushed out of the first turn by the porshe you need to watch the whole video

  • 4:19...oh the irony

  • Are the Corvette drivers blind in the dark? Why do they need those five hundred million lumen headlights compared to the others? From the front it looks like the close encounters of the third kind spaceship. Awesome battle though.

  • I saw this live and raged inside. That Porsche driver was full of shit. The race was almost over.

  • @AlumarsX I agree. Absolute garbage. The bump from the Vette was fine. That's racing. But if wrecking your opponent's the only way to win, you are a failure of a driver.

  • was the vette ahead before the crash?

  • To anyone who even thinks the Porsche is justified in any way should probably take a look at turn 1 on the last lap. Bergmeister hits Magnussen off the track when he tried the outside so he initiated the contact. Magnussen just gave it back in the last turn and they should have been even to the line but what do you know, Bergy spins him and takes the win. That's just plain dirty, he intitiated contact and still wrecks him for the win. No Class...

  • i don't think he deserved that crash, but i must say he kept pushing and cutting of that porsche

  • @wez1to2 He was bumping him because he was clearly faster and the Porsche was making some cheap blocks (although that's racing). Either way, if you're holding up a faster car, you're gonna get bumped.

  • Woah! Amazing clip!

First time i watch a whole 10min+ video on youtube :)

  • the porsche was obviously upset because he was about to lose, so he pinned the vette to the wall and crashed him? ive seen this happen in video games but not real life lol

  • @Kevin01SH

C6.R driver hit several times Porsche driver. Watch whole video, not last 30 seconds.

  • @2jzgtejza80 The C6.R driver hit him because he was clearly faster and both drivers knew it.

  • @LAMARboarder1555

Hitting Porsche driver wont make him faster, just non-sport driver. If he was faster, why he doesnt take him at some straight line, because Berg was faster at curve, Jan was faster at straight.

  • what kind of race is this?

  • @TopGear20 American Le Mans Series

  • Obviously Bergmeister did a break test on big mag, and he didn´t expect that, that´s why an bumped in to him.... But Bergmeisters move to push Jan into to the wall was crazy. Almost attempt at murder.

  • that was kind of a dick move

  • @itsomerandomguy You can count a lot of dick moves by the Corvette Team throughout that race

  • se paso de verga el de porche

  • Imagine the amount of adrenaline these guys were pumping out!!

  • Am I the only one who found the takedown at the end hilarious? For what it's worth the Corvette guy still crossed the finish line!

Still, I can't feel sorry for him. I could tell by the way he was driving that he was desperate and would end badly. He must have known using the pit exit was illegal. He bumped #43 at the end because he knew he was too far to overtake, and it'd cause him to exit the corner slower so he could take him on the straight. He was clearly willing to do anything to win.

  • I really dislike those prototype junk boxes.

  • @StealthAMG Really? Thats what makes ALMS ALMS for me at least, but i can see why it would be annoying.

  • Why do they race different speed cars at the same time? Doesn't that cause a lot of unnecessary danger?

  • 最高ですね

    Exciting!!!

  • i didnt have much interest in vetts before this but after watching this i think they are pretty sick

  • Lol... The comment below....... "The Corvette cheated and raced dirty". GET YOUR HEAD OUT OF YOUR ASS! ITS A COMPETITIVE RACE! NOT A CRASH DERBY!!!!! fuck you! he just couldn't stand to lose to the Corvette! So he pushed him WAYYYY into the wall. Fuck off!

  • @admx94 Yeah only after the vette bumped the porsche on the turn before

  • @admx94 I don't know wether it was "cheating" or not but doing that on purpose when you know it's the only chance of wining is cheap. I guess the guy in car #45 figured "if you can slow me down by force, I can do the same to you" and pushed back on the straight to force him to slow down. I don't think he meant to take him out, & it's hard to see exactly what hapened from the camera angle, but that's what happens when people drive like that. I don't condone it but the #3 driver wasn't undeserving

  • if I was Bergmeister, I wouldn t have pushed him to the wall like that BUT Magnussen did bump him at the final turn.....you can't fault Jorg for his retaliation

  • Corvette was a better car yet it was behind most of the time. It also cheated and raced dirty... let the haters hate. hah!

  • that shit got me all pumped up all the way through.

  • Comment removed

  • Imma wreck the next porsche I see. Fck Porsche

  • Kind of a dick move at the end there.

  • why would anyone watch nascar or drag racing when they could watch this?

  • best racing video on youtube!!

  • That looks fake, but I keep on saying, ''THIS IS REAL!!''

  • I'll agree that the last drive to the wall was over the top. The Vette was having issues with clean passing and the unneeded contact from him was a little much. So, I agree with the 2 race suspension for both of them.

We're seeing the stop and go penalties this season (and last?) for unneeded contact. Both of these guys had that in spades with this race.

  • Bergmeister did it like a loser. Pit maneuver on the last straight... What a jerk. 2 races suspension for both was a good call.

  • Two good friends exploring exciting things together:

    Diving in Bishop Harbor

  • No, the Corvette was not "so much faster". I think there was poor sportsmanship on BOTH sides. I know rubin' is racin' and all but if you can't make it around the porsche without cutting the track or ramming him out of the way, then get a faster car that has better braking. If it hadn't been for the Corvette ramming the Porsche on that last turn, I'd be a little more outraged at the Porsche's reaction. Dear ol Corvette got a BIG taste of his own medicine.

  • @sqcomp1 The second the vette got around the Porsche, he was pulling away. You'd have to completely ignore the facts to think the vette isn't faster.

  • @dangerznet indeed...that's why he got around him by cutting off the track...and being penalized for it. That's why the Porsche went back around him with better braking and cornering...

  • @sqcomp1 And that's the reason for pit maneuvering the Vette?

  • @sqcomp1 what are you talking about? when the vette did get by with the illegal pass he was clearly pulling away.

Not to mention the vette was making a pass on the outside of Turn 1 last lap and the Porsche slid out and bumped him into the dirt.

  • @sqcomp1 what are you talking about? You can clearly see the speed difference between the Corvette and Porsche, you can also see clearly in this video that the Corvette had his brake lights on as they made contact, telemetry showed that the Porsche was going much slower through this turn in an attempt to brake check the Vette and prevent the vette from getting a run down the straight.

  • @SuperColossal33 - The issue is, if you're correct, then why did both the Porsche AND the Vette drivers receive suspensions?

I saw no telemetry up on the screen as I watched that. Even if the Porsche was going slower in the curves on purpose, what was the reason for the bump? If the Vette was that much faster, he could have passed without the bump on the last turn. Honestly, I think that's what should have happened...both cars SHOULD have gone on without any contact side by side.

  • @SuperColossal33 - You're also preacing to the choir. I do think that the Porsche's driver was too dirty. If the vette had made a clear and clean pass 4 laps before, we wouldn't be sitting here being keyboard commandos arguing about a 2 year old race. Personally, if I had wrecked that Vette like that, I would have walked over and let that entire team kick my ass. Lord knows ol' Bergie needed an ass kicking after this one!

  • @sqcomp1 agreed on all accounts ;)

  • Corvette was so much more faster, asshole bergmeister ego was shattered and he had to destroy the car. Fucking asshole bergmeister, everytime i see this video, i cant believe racing has come down to idiot berg trying to kill another person on the track and then the officials letting him get away with it. I hope he get its back one day.

  • Laguna Seca looks amazing at dawn

  • @blmthug That's not dawn. That's dusk.

  • Comment removed

  • Flying Lizard!!! :)

  • haha i didn't realize that there would be an argument with nascar vs. road racing. Im pretty sure both require a great amount of skill. Just let the sports be dammit. I shouldve known tho im so used to rugby vs football

  • ill be there sept 17th!! cant wait!

  • This pilot is too bad the Corvette, Corvette and this is a western wagon

  • jridge56: Cut my throat and I will write: Bye bye Corvette!

    KKKKKKKKK....

  • look at those red hot brake discs... :o

  • fuck that porsche driver!

  • KKK, a corvete tomou um X lindo. 6>8??? LOL

  • I'm not a racer, in fact I don't think I could handle the unpredictability of having others on the track at the same time as me if I were to try it. But, I think bumping a slower car to get by, even a few hundred meters from the finish, is more acceptable than retaliating by spinning that person out and causing them to crash.

  • @IstasPumaNevada A few hundred meters from the finish? And all the other times the Vette bumped the Porsche? Closed your eyes on that didnt you? Its hard to admit that the Vette driver was more of a loose cannon than a pro, and the lack of skill was taught a very important lesson, FROM a real pro: play dirty, kiss the wall.

  • @IstasPumaNevada Its extremely clear that the vette purposely bump the Porches. The vette actually use the bump to decelerate. Good job Porches!!!

  • @IstasPumaNevada no it isn't, these cheaters need to calm down.. and stop ramming people.. what goes around comes around.

  • the best race I've ever seen!!!

  • Im really bad with cars. What were the two cars that were battling? The first was chevy corvette and the second was some kind of porshe?

P.S. Awesome battle, couldn't stop watching

  • @crazyltfreak 911 gt3 i think. but as you can probably see. both cars are very modified as far as body and performance

  • @NoelyDariana23 The vette did what he could do to win and so did the Porsche. winning is winning.

  • This is what I call racing. Nice!

  • how is that real racing or 'badass', the porsche blocked like a little bitch for a whole lap at least and then did a pit maneuver to wreck the guy that passed him, what a little scumbag faggot

  • u guys call that a good finish? watch NASCAR for a week and watch them race 3 wide and have photo finishes. This is just a bunch of stupid Europeans intentionally wrecking each other on the last lap because they got passed

  • @iRacerCB stop talking about nascar here

  • @iRacerCB hey let me tell you something you native idiot, don`t compare yourself to european`s in car racing because you are NOWHERE! you and your stupid nascar, those are the idiots, they don`t even have to brake or take corners, they go in circle like stupid monkeys! IDIOT! You learn to speak from television and you are talking about europeans!!??? jesus christ...

  • @vendi85 1. NASCAR has to use the brakes obviously at tracks like bristol, martinsville, pocono, and watkins glen

    2. ur fuckin retarded

3.and u say we are nowhere pshh NASCAR is the largest spectator sport in the world.

    4. NASCAR actually races in close quarters rather than racing 3 seconds away from each other like gay motherfucking european road racing.

  • @iRacerCB Soccer is the largest spectator sport in the world!

Personally soccer suck ass! I'd rather watch NASCAR but no shit, NASCAR SUCK BALLS!!

  • @DenwarTheoriginal well lets see, NASCAR tracks are 1-2 miles long and Im pretty sure that a soccer field isnt 2 miles long dumbfuck and NASCAR is real racing that requires skill and car control unlike this gripped up shit

  • @iRacerCB youre compairing two different animals. NASCAR and Grand Prix like these are totally different and cannot be compared. both require extreme amounts of car control and intelligence to do. but the nature of both is still different

  • @iRacerCB You are an idiotic nascar fan, probably soccer is the largest spectator sport in the world. And if you compar nascar with wrc, f1, wtcc,gp2, dakar, drift competitions or even baja 1000 than it means than you are the proudest and most stupid idiot in the world!

  • @vendi85 are u retarded?

  • Comment removed

  • little on the nasty side from the german but that was bad ass

  • 15 are f1 fan .

  • @stfunewbiez talk about nascar...sigh...iRacerCB..whata fagg

  • @MyBoogeryBooger f1 no moarr take over .. all jjust plain race to end the lap xD

  • Porsche can have the Laguna Seca win. C6R took 24 hrs of Le Mans.

  • @aqinthe amen to that.

  • @darthnefas well last time i checked this wasnt just a day at your local track where you wave the faster car by...this was a race the object is to win, now if the vette was faster he would have been able to maintain the leads he had when he passed the porsche. but he couldnt and got desperate and sacrificed his drive lines and resorted to some track bullying and failed EPICLY . But im not mad it was one of the best races ive seen in a long time.

  • EPIC...vette got his deserves!

  • @illsuspect I wouldn't say "deserve". He was faster and the Porsche was just blocking a lot and he wanted to drive clean. If you notice the Vette had his high beams on the whole time to put pressure on him. He was doing everything to get through.

  • It's really easy placing blame on one or the other. But in the end, after hours of racing, at the last race of the season, judgement takes a back seat as adrenaline soars and, let's face it, this was some of the most exciting racing ever!

  • o man that is so epic!

  • Exciting! Some dick moves on both sides but the 911 squeezing the Vette into the wall was just dirty.

  • serious dick moves, thats all.

  • Corvette was the better car

  • @31794ty video says otherwise

  • Putting blame aside, this was some of the best racing I've seen in along time!

  • jan is just awesome..

  • Porsche driver did nothing wrong, Vette got way aggressive and if he's gunna drive like that he's gunna get put into the wall.

  • lol @ you people looking far too deep into the accident.

  • literally the best driving I have ever seen from both cars

  • That dumb beetle fuck kept turning left for no other reason than pushing Jan into the wall..

  • fair play please!!!!!.... bad loser porsche fuck. wipiiiii.

  • grrr, curse you German fag beetle

  • Comment removed

  • WHAT A DRIVER @@

  • what a nice race :D what an exciting finish but the corvette pilot ain't so fair play... daring to cross the white line of the pit... what did the officials think about that ? it should be disqualificated is not ? The Porsche driver keeps its calm... and win legally... that proves, he gots talent to me...

  • The Vette is obviously faster. When he does the pit pass the Vette pulls away pretty far leaving the Porsche behind. In the last corner the Vette pulled away from the Porsche also. What a battle!!

  • now this is racing at its best i love watching this

  • @Lochieswhiplash

    don`t like the finish

    that was low

  • @Lochieswhiplash

    +1

Doesnt get better than this. Good commentary too.

  • Now thats what I call balls out racing

  • the corvette almost won while crashing!

  • Why the hell does everyone bring Ayrton Senna up into conversation? They probably never heard of the man until Top Gear showed the preview of the new film that they have made on him.

    This is GT2, not F1.

  • that corvette guy was driving so aggressive Oo i am happy he crashed in the end. fuck i would be pissed if someone bumps my car trying to get the lead.

  • @Dataacid happy someone crashed? how fucked up is that? what if he had gotten hurt? racing has bumping. thats just racing. if you dont want people to bump you passing, dont race or dont get passed.

  • @eaglesdood16 tbh i am also happy if someone dies after making this.

yes that stupid american car should have exploded and killed the pilot.

oh and i would have been even happier if he had a family and little kids you know.

still he got owned, now dare to reply again to me and you will have just ignorant c r a p coming out from my mouth again and again. Pointless to talk to me sage man.

  • @Dataacid I hope that the same thing will happen to you and ur family then.

  • @Sanderrr1994 well i hope you get a-n-a-l cancer. now out of my sight little man.

  • this is racing not that nascar bullshit.............oh the ending sucked that was cheap

  • this is racing not that nascar bullshit

  • That's what I call RACING!

    a real competition.

  • @ReformMovement pshh lmfao

  • Epic....epic,epic,epic,epic,epic,!

  • f1 is lame... nascar lame.. this is real shit.. professional time attack.. real mens driving

  • suck it vette

  • Vaya con Dios Corvette KKKKKK!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Bye Bye Corvette...KKKKKKKKKKK!

  • @supvidal How about I cut your fucking throat?

  • @jridge56

How about you chill out and enjoy the sport, you hysterical sissy?

  • 1:51 Fantastic pass!!! Now that's fantastic driving right there...

  • what a aggressive corvette driver!

  • tqveni ndzrevela deda movtyan me

  • Fuck that Porsche drivers !!!!! .\___/.

  • this was about the drivers, not the cars

  • That was painful!

  • At least it crossed the finish line... lol

  • I LOVE both the Porsche and Corvettes, but thats what you get for trying a dirty pass on the final corner...

  • One of the better race endings. And Jan is the better driver. fact

  • Bergdumpster caused the crash deliberately, he pushed the Corvette right up to the inside wall.

  • awesome racing but the final move was a bit too much. up to that point the rubbing was fine

  • Plus Jorg probably would have still won it if he didn't pull that little bitch stunt of trying to run Jan into the wall. It slowed him down and when he realized he couln't win, wham, he spins him out.

  • @FujiwaraHarimoto Yea but I could say the same thing about Jan.....realized he couldn't win so he rammed Jorg in the ass on the last turn. Goes both ways.

  • @frambesbuckeye Very true. This came down to pride and tempers getting the better of both drivers. The only thing that really makes me pissed off at Jorg is he intentionally wrecked Jan into the wall when he just bumped him a bit. Worth some heated words or fists after a race but not wrecking a $100,000+ car. Heck I'll even retract my statement about him chasing Jan to the wall, that was pretty deserved now that I think about it.

  • @frambesbuckeye Yeap, Jan did that because he knows that even though it would be the right thing to do to take his win and give it back to the Porsche, the officials wouldn't do it because the fans hate it when the result changes after the race ends that's why he choose to do it at the very last lap at the last corner! Jorg is not an amateur, he knew that and gave him a shot of his own medicine. Magnusson played dirty and deserved what he got, that's why Jorg wasn't penalized.

  • @LeontariF1 I think Jan was clean for the most part. He is one of those guys who only dishes what he gets first. Jorg is always in these situations and he is a touchy driver. The way he lost to Melo at Sebring, he made sure he didn't lost out again. It was a dirty move by running him off knowing the Corvette has the straight line speed on him. However, Karma always ssems to find you in racing.

  • btw not a major fan of nascar but pulling a move like that is a racing move not something worth that kind of payback
