I was only 16 in 1965 and I had the hots for this girl really bad. Hearing her songs brings me back to the mid 1960s in the San Francisco Bay Area where I grew up and had no idea I was living a part of history. What a time to be alive.

Yes, British release only on the Decca label (F12443, Rel: 8th Jul 1966). "I'd Like To Dial Your Number" was actually the B side, the A side was "Counting". a track I've never heard!

This song and the excellent "Oh Look Around You" were both written by Marianne in '64/'65

'counting'is on the greatest hits collection'marianne faithfulls greatest'album.Released in 1994,re-realesed 2006.However,it does not include many of her better songs.

I forgot to mention that "I'd Like to Dial Your Number" is on the CD simply titled "Marianne Faithfull" on the London record label (part of Decca) No: 820 630 -2

Has 20 tracks most of here early stuff, good quality as mot of it has been remastered. I think it was released in 1989.
