Britain and France have released a joint statement criticising the alleged use of human shields by Tamil Tiger rebels in Sri Lanka.
The two foreign ministers said the rebels had clearly been "forcefully preventing civilians from leaving" during a recent 48-hour ceasefire.

YOU made a claim (No 1 terrorists) I am asking you to prvovide just ONE link proving that. The LTTE is proscribed a terror org yes. But they are not a security to world peace. They are considered freedom fighters by many. The SL gov is comitting the most attrocities agianst the citizns. READ the recent human right report based on the current war, or the thousands of articles. SL gov is indiscriminately bombarding and slaughtering civilans.

If there is a portion of people in the country which held weapons and fighting for area for their nation to obtain separate part from their country, What should a government do other than do Sri Lankan government. LTTE do not respect to negotiations. They thought SL army can t defeat them. So look at the disaster they are experiencing due to their selfish policies.

Learn English buddy.....learn to spell!!! I dont think by creating hatred against the Tamils via discriminate propaganda, as well as engaging in genocidel acts against the Tamil people, and continuously abducting, murdering, raping and killing innocent Tamils is going to solve the problem. All the government is doing is creating Tamils around the world to feel the pain of their people and their homeland, thereby giving rise to new groups of Tamils to fight for the rights of the Tamil people.
