you guys.. duh the shooting was not good.. okay. Its brown bear hunting, Its very intense.. Its not shooting a deer out of a treestand or a truck door. These are very long planned out hunts and no motter how it goes down when it is over there is a ton of emotions. this is dangerious big game hunting... things dont always go as planned

Especially with two people shooting. hunters who post poor shots as yourselves give real hunters and sportman a bad name. we are already losing ground with the greenies. i can't believe the second shooter took almost a minute to make a follow up shot. unbelievable.

As one of the shooters, just to clarify, the first shot was through the lungs. When we cleaned the bear there were 4 total shots in the bear, all through the lungs (i.e. kill shots). An 800 lb bear takes a few minutes to die... we had to speed that up when it turned to charge us.
Nice bear but it seems to me you could of waited for a sure shot. He didn't know you were there so why rush it? On the other hand I doubt it's easy to stay steady with that big son of a bitch walking towards you. You guys finished him as soon as you could, so for the most part I say nice work.
