Awsome paint job, much prefer the blue to that green it gets old so fast. I think red would make them look too much like terminators though.

I was actually going to do the very same thing. I ordered my blue rods but they were not as blue in the picture. I am thinking about putting a stain on them to make them darker.

I too ordered them i have a squad of 14 of them with blue rods i stained mine and they look great

i stained them with this l;iquid gel paint and made the rods look electric blue it came out really nice
