i dont understand y every1 has 2 b beter than every1 else. if u have a comment thats going to criticise some try not 2 make out that the one you did was better, cuz ur only askin 4 ppl 2 b critical bout urs 2. so what if it was bad,we still had the balls to do itthis aint up on youtube to show how good we our,its up so people can see what it was like.if u av done this show,try not to say urs is better or in fact worse,cuz its not fair 4 people who took time out to rehearse this from their jobs

As a music fanatic, I interpreted each note and piece to find expression and musical lyrical quality. Not for fun, just because of habit. Anyway, have any tips to be able to find if your in tune and singing correctly for this musical. AUDITIONS for me at SHS are FEB 4 and 5. CALLBACKS for me at SHS are FEB 6
Wow!! Barrett's pretty hott! He has a nice voice, a litle out of tune at some places, but overall really nice. Although this is really, really, slow...I'm surprised the audience didn't fall asleep waiting for the song to end. Slower songs take much more effort and expression to sing, so that people don't lose interest. But, otherwise, I love this song! Also love Barrett!!!!!
haha. you obviously have a great ear. unfortunatly youtube dosnt show the intamacy of the theatre this was performed in, it prooves you need to be there to really appreciate the show.there are only a few parts where the tuning goes off. mainly by bride. the focus on barretts voice is strong, however the control of vibrato was not perfect.

I thought it was actually a bit slow and slightly out of tune (Mainly Bride's "Everywheres") at first, but overall it was great, the duet at the end was really nice as was the overall performance, I bet the audience loved this
The show looks great...I've watched a bunch of the clips. But, yeah...Harold Bride was 20 years old! I was thinking that the really young officer with the fab voice (Lightoller possibly?) should have had this role...not that this guy wasn't good, but....20! Barrett rocks by the way :)
I still have yet to figure out what the point of this song is. I mean yes it is a good song, but Brides part makes no sense to me at all. Barrets kinda makes sense... he wants to propose to his woman. Bride... not a clue where that came into play.
Bride is the telegraph operator. He's part is to break the barrier between solitude and laughter. The dit-dit parts are the interpretation of the telegraph sound; music was chosen instead of sound effects-adds emphasis. Anyway, Bride is also to reflect the older souls of those lost at sea who were once/are like Barrett

I saw the clip for Barrett's Song. It was good. This one is perfection though. You're a good singer. I haven't really heard a crappy song you've sung. I'm glad all these clips are up. I've been wanting to see more of this musical because my high school is doing this this winter. I hope are Barrett is half as good as you.

bride was awful............barrett was good on some parts.
i did this and i was barrett and im going to put the vid up soon.......WHEN WE PUT IT UP IT WILL BE THE BEST ON YOUTUBE!

I was not a huge Bride fan, but the Barret in this was fantastic.

OMG....Bride is supposed to be 22!!! Even Marty Moran on Broadway had to play him down to look younger than he actually is in real life...

I love this song. It's very well done too. This song, Lady's Maid, and We'll Meet Tomorrow are my favorites.
