I think "TheHonestReviews" is falling short of his/her true potential and is forcing this fad to hate everything to make their mind for them. A prequel would be great too, but let the movie come out and really shine before saying something negative.
I think this remake would be stupid the fact that they want to make it more realistic then the first one. In fact New Line Cinema is not making the movie it's Warner Bros. I think a prequel should be made instead of this.

There was that rumor a while that BBT was going to play Freddy but about 3 months ago or so it was confirmed that Jackie Earle Haley (he played Rorschach in Watchmen) A much better choice than BBT if u ask me!
I am not familer with Jackie Earle Haley, but i looked on good images and he looks like he can pull it off, I am just worred that BBT will not have the energy that freddy kruger has, he might look good as a freddy kruger but i don't think he will have the moves and energy for him, but hopfully they don't mess up the remake.
I hated and liked halloween mainly because I did like how they showed Michael Myers as a child, but a bad thing about it is that now Myers has no more mystery. In the original Myers was so mysterious that it was scary, now I think that its scary but not as good, if that makes any sense.
There's a remake in the works which will suck. Just like Friday the 13th, Halloween, Last House on the Left, Hills Have Eyes, Texas Chainsaw Massacre and the recently announced Poltergeist.

There was that rumor a while that BBT was going to play Freddy but about 3 months ago or so it was confirmed that Jackie Earle Haley (he played Rorschach in Watchmen) A much better choice than BBT if u ask me!

I am not familer with Jackie Earle Haley, but i looked on good images and he looks like he can pull it off, I am just worred that BBT will not have the energy that freddy kruger has, he might look good as a freddy kruger but i don't think he will have the moves and energy for him, but hopfully they don't mess up the remake.

I hated and liked halloween mainly because I did like how they showed Michael Myers as a child, but a bad thing about it is that now Myers has no more mystery. In the original Myers was so mysterious that it was scary, now I think that its scary but not as good, if that makes any sense.

You know why the old versions where better? they were orginal, had great actors and robert englund, they can't remake it.
a remake will ruin all parts with new special effects and stuff.
yea it looks more real and the graphics are better but it will not be the same, and so it will not be better.
the acteurs of then are now grown and can't act in the remake anymore, but i loved the actors!
so they should'nt make a new one.
they should give the old ones a lil more attention even when its 2009

They ruined Friday in many ways.
-They CHANGED Jasons mask
-They Gave Jason a prosthetic hump on his back (that NEVER existed in the entire series!)
-the machete looked more like a sword
-they altered Jasons entire outfit
-the Acting sucked (a tad too overdone)
-for some unknown reason Jason seemed (2 me) walk slow + limp abit when hes supossed to 'stride with a killers instinct' and b
