A great artist and wonderfully sympathetic and cordial colleague. I was lucky to know him in Hamburg, late '60s.

I heard Moll live once, as Lodovico in Chicago, 1985; and his marvelous voice enveloped the audience. Here he sings richly and beautifully, as always -- this is as good as it gets from a true bass, and that's very good indeed:) -
