Sony vegas keyframe/image merging tutorial

Thanks for uploading this tutorial! I've been looking for this everywhere! Just one problem, when i click on event pan/crop, i have no mask layer! is there a way i can create one? :)

Thanks! is the keyframe related to the timeline or the clip? When i copied a keyframe to another track, it was lost. BUt when i did a new keyframe, the original was lost (on the other track. I take it that if i had made a duplicate of that, clip, i woul dhave retained both keyframes??? As far as i can tell, you can only have one keyframe per clip???

Frames are in the effects under 'border', just add the effect where you want it and edit it so its the way you like ;)

Sorry, wish I could help you but I didn't even know there was a version 9.0! It's really strange that it doesn't have that function though...maybe you could downgrade to 7 or 8?

Yeah I went home and followed your instructions and had no problems with adding this effect. Regarding the youtube setting I do keep it around 1M for my settings. It's looks good when I render it to you tube. When it post on you tube the footage just isn't as crisp. If you get a chance check out the videos i've posted then give me some tips from what you see thanks again!!

Hey again, there's much more to mess with than the 1M that can improve your quality, I can't remember exactly what I've put, but keep trying and you'll get there! I checked out your vids and though I can't really specifically say what you need to do, there's definitely improvement that can be made if you change some settings. Make sure you're rendering to wmv and not another format. Also youtube now has a high quality option, so when you upload a video you'll get it both in high and low quality.

Also what kind of video camera did you use for this tutorial. I have an xl2 and for some reason i can't get my videos clear on youtube. I'm editing on Sony Vegas and using the correct settings just not clear like it is in the program when I render it. I know Youtube takes a lot of the quality away what did you do to make this clear respond when you have time thanks a million.

Hey, glad the video has helped you! I'm afraid I can't help you much in terms of the camera, I don't actually use footage I've taped myself, but as far as losing quality when rendering, it's all about the settings; you may think you have the right ones, but keep playing around with them and you'll find you can get it better. I render vids as wmv with the maximum settings that keep it under 100mb. Thanks for subscribing and feel free to message me if you have more questions! ;)

hi, this is an excellent vid, but i'm having problems with something. when i do the effects of one vid over the other, it only shows it for 1 second and the rest of the vid is off...like when u put lucas in the pic the effect last throughout the part of the vid...but mine doesnt...answer?? thanks!
