@450slang the queen aliens lays the eggs the eggs hatch a facehugger comes out of the eggs attaches itself to a host implants a embreo in the host then falls off and dies the embreo turns into a chestburster bursts out the hosts chest killing them within hours the chestburster turns into an alien drone sometimes the facehugger can put the embreo of a queen in the host but mostly it just puts a drone embreo in the host drones can't lay eggs only the queen can lay eggs like bees or ants

The best movie ever made. Exists on at least a half dozen levels simultaneously and never loses track of any of them. Opens and closes with a nod to Shakespeare "We are such stuff as dreams are made on, and our little life, is rounded with a sleep". Classic Cameron: always thinking big, almost always delivering.

this is a horrible sequel! honestly, the suspense, atmosphere, diolouge and desgin in the first one is supperior! the only thing I liked about this one was the Alien queen. she was badass!
and I think its funny that Newt and Hicks die in Alien 3. Only thing I didnt like was that we didnt actually get to watch

@Hannibal457 Watching real kids die on film is horrible obviously and even when its really graphic in film its kinda messed up but I dont have too much of a problem with kids dying in a film generally. As long as the child actor didnt die in the process of filming....
But yeh, this series is better off in its darker horror volumes (#1 and #3) than its other points (#2 and #4).

@JeePsSsS I don't like Alien 3 because the very opening kills Newt and Hicks, completely crapping all over Ripley's struggle to save them. You know, she spends the whole of Aliens trying to protect Newt, she busts her balls to do so, she goes into a building that's about to have a nuclear-meltdown and is also swarming with xenomorphs, she fights the bloody Queen, then her two hours' work in Aliens turns out all for nought within 5 minutes of Alien 3.
@SnakeOnAPlane Hmm yeah maybe it was a bit too easy to make everyone die at the beginning of Alien 3, but it also the reason why the movie is so dark !

The best movie ever made. Exists on at least a half dozen levels simultaneously and never loses track of any of them. Opens and closes with a nod to Shakespeare "We are such stuff as dreams are made on, and our little life, is rounded with a sleep". Classic Cameron: always thinking big, almost always delivering.

This trailer is actually bad
It basically is the whole movie in 2 minutes
They should have refered the colony, how they lost contact...
Then the descent and the first attack...
Then the scene where hicks says "stay frosty. We cant affor to let any of those bastards in here"... then the they cut the power scene
And then show the scene where ripley encounters the queen for the first time and end where you see her roar...
I think that would be an awesome trailer

this is a horrible sequel! honestly, the suspense, atmosphere, diolouge and desgin in the first one is supperior! the only thing I liked about this one was the Alien queen. she was badass!
and I think its funny that Newt and Hicks die in Alien 3. Only thing I didnt like was that we didnt actually get to watch

and yeh, I'd rather see a little kid die in a sequel to a surrealist horror masterpeice than be saved by trigger-happy jarheads with tooth-rottingly sweet little kid momments. At least Ripley was awseome though.

@MythicDude You clearly liked the original better for its horror elements rather than the sequel for its action elements. But seeing a child die on film is never ok, clearly you must understand that.

@Hannibal457 Watching real kids die on film is horrible obviously and even when its really graphic in film its kinda messed up but I dont have too much of a problem with kids dying in a film generally. As long as the child actor didnt die in the process of filming....
But yeh, this series is better off in its darker horror volumes (#1 and #3) than its other points (#2 and #4).

the cool thing is that halo and aliens are very similiar basically halo remade some alien object (such as the frigates) and then in avatar james cameron remade the hornets

@JeePsSsS I don't like Alien 3 because the very opening kills Newt and Hicks, completely crapping all over Ripley's struggle to save them. You know, she spends the whole of Aliens trying to protect Newt, she busts her balls to do so, she goes into a building that's about to have a nuclear-meltdown and is also swarming with xenomorphs, she fights the bloody Queen, then her two hours' work in Aliens turns out all for nought within 5 minutes of Alien 3.
