im in the worst possible part for this area, im lvl 20 stuck at a save crystal. if i move ahead i have to fight Zalera, if i dont i will lose my party doing a suicide run across a lvl 40 area...

just hold down R2 and run forever. enemies eventually stop following you, and then you can just get to an exit. I know how that feels though, and it isnt fun.

Try doing this on a 112233 game (no level.) To say its a bitch is a major understatement.

Also, I remember my brother tried that, and got destroyed repeatedly. I'm pretty sure there's a trick for this area though.

@iusethelancer1 Try checking gamefaq dot com. there's a 122333 guide there where it contains good information such as chest that contains motes.

@iusethelancer1 Also you could get holy motes, balance mote, hastega mote, water mote in westersand. You could get aero mote in a chest near Nalbina Fortress in Eastersand. Hope this help. goodluck

Also, where is the earliest place that you can find a firefly (or whatever the thing is that nullifies XP gain).

@iusethelancer1 You can get your first firefly in a chest in Stillshrine of Miriam. You could also use the Slaven thingy trick wich is very complicating.

i actually liked this part of the game. The music particularly. It just matched so well wandering through the tunnels. First time I went through the passage, i got by with ease; not much hassles.

Yeah, after u've rescued Basch, u get into this place, a secret passage underground. Mimics, Flans and stuff.
