  • how could such a nice car brand dissapear like this?

  • 60km/h in to a wall is just like a 60 km/h crash with another car at the same speed...

  • some dummy pressed the brake pedal 01:04

  • SAAB saved my life in a crash. Amazing cars!

  • GM killers

  • they like a stone :) :)

  • rip. killer gm

  • I am sad because GM kill SAAB already . Saab is dead now

  • well obviously everyone would survive if two saabs crash together... theyre tanks.

  • why not see how the cars makes it in 220 km/h closing speed? i mean i dont think any car would make it that well in a frontal crash at the freeway in 220 km/h

  • In physics 60 + 60 is not 120, because each vehicle is gonna act as a wall upon impact, and therefore cancel the movement - resulting in each vehicle suffering 60kmph punch.

    Check if in doubt

  • you can crash me

  • Cute engineer, great cars...

  • @felsner1

Most swedish girls are pretty... I've been there and everywhere you look you see beautiful faces...

  • @andavid I know. I live a few miles from the boarder.

  • Swedish cars and Swedish girls! Yesss!

  • I want to see the actula footage, wtf is worng with this video.

  • swedish cars are amazing, my first car is going to be a saab 93 or 95, also, what a sweet person! shes devoting her time to keeping drivers safe!

  • Saab - my first car, my first love.

  • The car is 5 star euro ncap. this is just 1 of the 40+ different tests SAAB does before a launch.

Also , it got awarded TOP SAFETY PICK in USA.

  • saab is one of the worlds most safest cars !!

  • Saab is Chinese now...

  • @GamerAndReviewer it could be dead? is that any better?

  • @secksivn The problem is that I'm not sure about the quality...

  • @GamerAndReviewer its built in mexico and switzerland as always. Same workers, same plants, different investors is all!

  • @secksivn Sweden! Not Switzerland.

  • no wonder there going bankrupt

  • @dafspeed they're*

  • @MissUToobVids If You are going to correct spelling, you missed No* and the full stop. Cunt.

  • @dafspeed Suck it faggot.

  • looks like the cars are travelling at approximately 30 kmh!!

  • hey, remember, these cars are travelling at 60, not 64 (as eur ncap). that is actually a huge difference

  • @BrunostNOR : yeah...4 km/h if the same car would hit a wall at 64...

  • I want her Job!

  • i used to work in a saab dealership in body repair ,they were a bitch to straighten out because they were so well built !

  • A lot of gorgeous women in Sweden. Love the blondes.

  • @Transam941 Yes! Swedish Blondes and Irish Redheads are best!

  • lol inside is a big white cloud. its like the marshmallow man exploded lmao

  • OMG!!! They have a lot of airbags

  • @gkoulouriskoulouris : Yes, its cool, I would feel safe if my car would had 8 airbags :D :D

  • amazing!!

  • Did the car apply the brakes at approximately 1:04?

    Click 1:03 and watch

  • @Djhg2000 no, its a safety feature where the brake lights flash to warn drivers behind theres an accident.

i believe bmw has a similar feature in their brake lights

  • @meteora8888 Oh, then that's a pretty smart feature.

    Thanks for the reply :)

  • @Djhg2000 its whan the dummys foot hits the breake pedal from the impact

  • Holy fuck. The sad thing here is that I will NEVER own this car and these guys just used 2 of them, instead of using 1 hitting the wall! grr.

    Saab is the best.

  • that girl isa cutie

  • @moijesuismoi99

    nice accent too!

  • I love saab (L) i wanna help this girl with this job whauw she's is hot!!!

  • I regret getting rid of my 2 Saab 9000 turbo's i had ( Original and proper Saabs )

  • I hate checklists from the bottom of my soul

  • oops! hard to see destroying theese good cars

  • instead of destroying those.. you could have given one to me...

  • kph? kph? kph? LOL!

  • @TheFastestSrbin :D kilometers per hour

  • haha if you colapse two masses of the same weight one into another at the same speed, this speed wont be added it wont be multiplied by 2 like the lady suggests!!!! it´s like crushing into a solid wall at 60km/h they wont add... how is it possible that someone who is incharged of car safety doesn´t now this? COME ON!

  • @kankun92 Are you sure? I haven't done physics for a very long time, but i'm sure the impact speed will be 120 ... I mean, if one car drives with 90 km/h and a car behind it with 100 km/h the impact speed will be 10 km/h . If you crash a car at 60 km/h in a solid wall it is like crashing two cars at 120. Newton's 2nd law? or 3rd? for every action there is an equal opposite reaction ? So the wall will "react" back... Correct me if I'm wrong

  • @blackhawk192 well the law say that the same force you do to the wall the wall will do to you, so the wall would make you a 60km/h force, but your 60 kph don't affect you, just the wall force will affect you, i guess

  • Comment removed

  • @blackhawk192 let them explain you better... watch?v=r8E5dUnLmh4&feature=related

  • @blackhawk192 kankun is right. This test would be very similar to the Euro NCAP one, except for the 60 vs 64 kph difference. You would never survive a crash @ 120 kph into a solid wall, no matter how safe your car is. G forces are too high so you'll die from them.

  • @blackhawk192 i don't think so. the wall stands still, so it's only a 60 km/h hit. two cars at 60 km/h is a 120 km/h hit. you don't have to crash to test it. imagine yoursel driving along, passing trees and then there goes this car at the same speed as you in opposite direction. it passes you twice as fast as the trees. you can figure it would be twice as bad to crash that car than the tree (although trees can be tricky as they bite in the bonnet like a knife, but that's a different issue) ;-)

  • @stuchly1 I do see your point, but , the wall fights back with the same force that hit him so the force is attenuated only by the crumple zones of one car. When two cars collide, the force is dissipated in car A and car B, whether with the wall, it has no crumple zones.Crashing two cars at 60 is the same as crashing one car in the wall at 60,and not 120. Watch Mythbusters to be convinced watch?v=r8E5dUnLmh4

  • @blackhawk192 well. i see i can see your point =)

at least you're an inteligent person who is interested in a dialogue rather than calling me names right away xxD

thanks for that! what a refreshing event to happen to me on youtube!

  • @stuchly1 Yeah man,I feel you. There are way too many retards on youtube calling people names instantly, I can say the exact same thing about you.

Best of luck dude, in all...

  • @blackhawk192 thanks! to you too!

  • @blackhawk192 if you crash a car at 50 its like crashing to cars at 50. there is no difference

  • @MasonColvin That could be, yet I wonder how you achieved that insight to her mind ;-)

  • I would love this job!!!!

  • "I have a checklist.. eh.. with lots of pages..."

    She really is blonde :-D

    Beautiful cars, btw!

  • its not like a frontal impact at 120kph, although the speed is combined so its 120, but the forces are devided in 2, because of 2 cars, so you are back to 60kph, thats why its the same as crashing 1 car in a wall at 60kph.

  • Thumbs up if you also like Volvo ;)

  • correction if both cars are going 60 kph it will not equal up to 120 kph it will still be a 60 kph crash.

  • you are extremely in safe in a crash with volvo, if you sit in a SAAB..))

  • saab isnt swedish anymore ;'(

  • @POLINDOCAN Saab hasn't been "Swedish" for more than 10 years. GM took full ownership in 2000. At least now it's still owned by Europeans. Spyker is a Dutch company. But even so, Saab still takes great pains to keep its quirky Scandinavian flair.

  • @juice0105 It's protection in case your head was to reverse back after the impact and hit a hard surface ...

  • wow

  • @zznwea an Upgraded Platform of the Alfa Romeo 164 still lives under the Saab brand and it pleases me it does very well.

    Italian engeneering at his best.

  • @215alessio No it ain't. The saab old 9-5 is not at all based on the 9000 and the new saab 9-5 isn't at all based on the old 9-5, its only similarity to the 9000 is that its a big saab. italian with big saabs is it?

  • @Elda991 I admit, I was wrong it was the older model, this one uses a Epsilon II GM platform

  • better than a Volvo!!

  • better than a Volvo!!

  • haha everybody says Swedish cars are safe, but remember GM had already built this car before Spyker bought it.

  • Saab can from hereon advertise their new 9-5 by saying:

The new Saab 9-5. The safest Saab so far.

    Tested by blondes!

    ;)

  • @SimsenDK1 Yeah... It's still a GM product. You're right, but it's very safe!!

  • Disappointing that the development engineer cannot do math. She says at 0:30 that the cars are going 60 KPH and will crash like they're going 120 KPH. Anyone with a knowledge in physics (or an interest in Mythbusters) will tell you the two cars will crash like they hit a wall at 60 KPH, not 120 like she said.

  • @scott8919 The total speed is 120 anyway, because if the they are driving in opposite directions, the speeds sums up

  • @countach27 Yeah , but since both cars was equal , they take half of the impact each, it means that the very first parts that hit will instantly get a speed of 0 while each car still is moving in 60 km each to that point while they deforms and slow down. If one of them was rock hard and had the same weight it should be like 120 for the other car.

  • @scott8919 i doubt she watched myth busters haha

  • she be good english!

  • swedish cars are brilliant

  • @JENSDONT ....and tested by blondes... LMAO

  • @JENSDONT Despite the fact that it's an Opel Insignia, however :D

  • Saab cars are very safe, but drivers attitudes are also very important.

    Good job Saab!

  • @video234279

I am in live want i haved a Saab in an accident!

It is the best safety car in the world !!
