Jeez that was pretty self-indulgent crap. The fact they were all smiling and laughing suggest they were getting it, but I defy you to get it. Isn't music about communication with the listener? Or is this "post-music"?  I am afraid Steve Reid is no Tony Allen. His drumming is so last century. As for Hebden, he sure does love himself. He is hugely trendy as Four Tet, but it still sounds crap to me.

hey man, all it is a toy, one of those toy music boxes, he's just rubbing it over the strings cos it has a big flat surface on the bottom to scrape the strings with
