Driver side drop is on 80 or 81 and later Jeep J trucks. Both my 81's are drivers side drop, and my buddies 79' J20 is Passenger side.

i got a 76 j10 im makin into a mudder.. i thought u could just use a regular suspension lift.. wats a shackle flip again? ive heard of it nvr seen one and nice tire choice with the boggers!

Shackle flip moves the shackle from pointing down off the spring to pointing up off the spring.

how are those tires for road use...like is it a rediculous amount of vibration or is it not too badd? cuz i wanna get them but i still gotta be able 2 drive my f-250 around...

you will be fine running them on a heavy truck like that, if you keep them rotated and balanced they will ride okay.

yeah the engine will last awhile but dont blow the clutch! i cant even find a place for a new one

what kind of lift

3" body lift, spring over axle conversion in the front, and shackle flip in the back. Total of around 9" of lift for under $500 with shocks, brake lines, and pitman arm.

My 75' looked like that but it was primer gray. i did all kinda muddin just like that.

My 74 j10 dies everytime i hit water. Runs fine until than. And it seems the alternator isn't charging the batteries. What should I do to fix these problems?

id say it was a short in the wiring on the charging, and with the water i had a problem with water getting in the tank. I replaced the hose between the filler neck and the tank and haven't had a problem since.

i have a '77 j-10, and it's bad about dieing when i hit water of even a big puddle on the road. on my truck it was water getting under the distributer cap. next time it happens to you remove the cap and spray the water out with wd-40. if that works, you caould try putting a boot over it, i think early ford bronco and even mustang 5.0's had a rubber boot that fit iver the dist. cap while still allowing for the wires. you could try finding one of those. i hope this helps, i love those old trucks
