  • pumped up kicks has the same base melody as this

  • 1 person kept driving into trees at Redwood.

  • The 2 versions are so diferent but makes me happy of the same way.

  • i play that game at de arcade, not n64 version. it beings me back memories in high school years 1996- 2000.. :)

  • <3

  • american fat nyan cat :D

  • I thought I remembered hearing a Vibraslap in this song. I was thinking of the arcade version.

  • epic nostalgia man, I always picked the Ferrari Testarossa (the red car) but then again who didn't? lol.

  • @EminemFan202

The Red Car had a name? For me it was just "the red car".

Actually, the Silver Car, since I always used that arcade cheat to change its color.

  • @Henrique37911 Well I knew it as a Ferrari Testarossa because of it's design...yeah and I remember the cheat but I thought it turned the Ferrari from red to a blue-green type color.

  • @EminemFan202 If you pressed toghether all the view buttons, He'd become something like silver. It was nice.

  • @Henrique37911 Unless that's what you call blue-green. I dunno, maybe I am colorblind or have bad memory.

  • I miss Arcades

  • Wished I heard someone blast Cruise n' USA music in their car lol

  • That song 'pumped up kicks' reminded me of this. There are distinct similarities.

  • This brings me back. Man, I miss the old arcade I used to go to.

  • @DontGoInThere

I know what you mean, man. My first exposure to this game was at the Tilt arcade center in Bull City. Never wanted to leave the arcade when I played this bad boy. My favorite stage was Death Valley.

  • Instead of a N64 why don't you have a picture of the arcade cabinet instead?

  • N64 sounded okay, but this arcade edition kicked butt.

  • I never notices the diffrents

  • Why nintendo didnt fit the real music and from other games I played on the n64 I heard real insturments so why its so hard for the with game

  • @kenrickeason

it came out back before they had the bigger n64 carts :(

  • This when games had a real feel to them instead now you got read instru to games to play them wtf I remember you just pick up a controller and play for hours and didnt know what the was about just play them

  • Quando escuto essa musica vejo toda a minha infância passar num piscar de olhos e fico feliz por ter nascido no inicio dos anos 90 e não ter pegado essa geração de hoje. O meu velho N64 me fez muito feliz!

  • Someday I'm going on a road trip across South Dakota, and I'll play this music.

  • Miss this game.

  • games just aren't the same!

  • @WampaStomper Can't even get split screen half the time anymore.

  • hey buddy, check out my page. I just uploaded this track in stereo sound :))

  • Woah! Death Valley!

  • this both the N64 version and arcade version sound relly epic :D

  • wow this song is epic almost sound like it would be good for a epic western movie like the fist full of dollors trilogy brings me back good memeries when i played this game on the local arcade rally at a place called boomers and playing the n64 version as well long live 90s gaming

  • Quite catchy.

  • holy shit why is this song so amazing

    I mean it's cruis'n for god's sake

  • I just wanna drive thru the desert with this song playing in my car

  • best track in the game:-)

  • Thank you for uploading this. Have had this song constantly on my mind since I discovered it for a few days ago. I use do put coins on this machine mainly to hear this song! Thanks!

  • thank you for the upload. used to put coins in the arcade mainly to hear this song. good nostalgia! Cheers!

  • Top Notch!

  • 1,000,000x more epic than the N64

  • this sounds very good! Nice work...

  • Loved this theme in Redwood.

  • Epic upload. Thanks!!

  • ooh ah ooh ooh ah

  • I constantly have this song stuck in my head.

  • how do you get these songs?! ^_^

  • Frickin love this song. :D Every time I hit the mall and the arcade, I just always have to play at least 1 game of CA and have this song in my ears. Good thing is that concentrating on this song has made me nigh unbeatable. :D Good times.

  • @evankimori

spend 800 dollers on ebay and wala! your own arcade machine!

  • very cool sound to it!

  • mt rushmore at the grand canyon, it's like she was trying to make me beat her

  • omg i could so see this being a theme on advance wars!!! am i rite???

  • this one sounds more epic at the begining I like this one better

  • It's been forever since I last heard this particular version of the song (I own the N64 game). I'm subscribing!

  • Maybe it's just nostalgia, but I like the sound of the N64 version better. :\

  • Same here, though the other songs might sound better on the arcade.

This one's almost...too good. I feel like the limitations of the N64's sound chip might have benefitted this song. Though my problem with the arcade version is mostly the intro.

Dunno, it may grow on me.

  • what?

  • Man this song was excellent! I used to play this game as a kid just to hear this song ;P

  • Why does it sound so fast? thats not right

  • Oh god I remember being around 13 or so and being dragged by my parents to this pbar/restaurant and me just bumming quarters to play this game over and over again, way back in 96 I believe.

  • !@#!$#!@$!!!!! I tired to ask DoomMaster myself but he has this stupid !#@$ friend lock thing and I can't get thru.

I'll never get to use M1.

(sighs) I should've known my bad luck curse will bite my ass again.

  • Have you searched for the frontend for M1? It makes it much easier to use if you aren't good with DOS.

  • @GIJordan2049

the Dos i think should be easy to use

  • @heatblizzard

no shit man....i almost had the object but the fucker locked me out

    BULLSHIT!

  • There's a frontend called BridgeM1

  • Like Doommaster1994 said. How do I use this program thingy? It runs on dos only.

I am sitting here thinking "What the hell?"

*kicks the M1 player in an angry fashion and it breaks*

  • Wow, the Grand Canyon.......... CHECKPOINT!!!!

  • This Game Rules In The Arcade And On The n64.

  • This sounds more epic than the N64 version.

  • @PHILRYABKIN

Its weird, when I compare the songs from Cruisn' with the arcade and N64 versions, some are better in lower quality N64, and some are better with actual instruments.

The same goes for the game Battletanx with the N64 vs the PSX versions. Maybe its just nostalgia, idk.

  • @peniosasdasd And there is a reason why in the N64 version none of the surfing music is by default.

  • @PHILRYABKIN This kicks the N64 in the 64.

  • The guitar player is the composer of all the Cruisin' Music, Vince Pontarelli.

  • @Doommaster1994 aaaaaaaaand thaaank you very much for that!!

  • How do you get these songs?

  • my favorite track on the game as well!!! I would really get into it whenever I heard this song xD thanks!

  • 'Tis great, too bad it's not in stereo. :(

  • Not sure if it'll help, but add &fmt=18 for high quality. I'm trying to convert most of my ripped audio to stereo, any suggestions would be welcome.

  • It's still in mono, maybe ripping/recording in stereo would help, unless the song was in mono to begin with.

  • Oh yeah, could you try to get the theme it plays after a race is finished and it goes to the map?

  • Sure, I just didn't think anybody wanted to listen to it.

  • sounds like Pokemon LOL!

  • The original from the machine was mono. Still better than the one from the N64 game.

  • Oh, thanks for the info.

  • To Freqhog:

How did you get the music to this game? I am dying to know.

  • There is a audio emulator for Cruis'n USA / Cruis'n World named "m1 arcade and pinball sound emu" It will allows you to open the arcade ROM and play or extract to .wav files.

  • What is the ROM file?

  • Actually forget my last comment. I have a problem. It seems to only be a DOS program so I can't run it. Any suggestions?

    Thanks

    -DM1994

  • Does it let you take the file out and like put it on your iPod or MP3 player? becuase I really want this song, if you could provide a link that would be great

  • itzmario - It can capture to .WAV which is compatible for your iPod. You can capture it as long as you want I believe.

  • @Doommaster1994

how? i can't figure it out! i'm confused!

  • Type in bridge M1. Download that and put it into your DOS version's directory. There will be a Windows version.

  • i tryed it and well....the file was not all there....wtf

  • There's a file called M1.DLL or something like that. You just need to put that file in your Bridge M1 directory.

  • @GIJordan2049 My suggestion is to hurry up! :) You said *any* suggestions. LOL

  • @Wolfschtein check out my page. I just added this in stereo :) put the following into the youtube search to pull up my video: 1ZQpTG1H6Ho

  • Shit man, you just made my night. This was my favorite track on the game.

  • OMG you're right!!! it was the best song in the game.

  • Well, i'm happy to help.
