  • That is insane. A wolf as a pet.

  • @Lunabiology I think that is a wolf Sanctuary run by licensed wolf trainers. Game and fish has told me wild animals still retain their dangerous instincts, no matter how comfortable they may seem around humans.

Plus a wolf defensive bite force is around 406 pounds. OUCH, that might rip your hand off. A English Mastiff bite force is higher at 743 pounds but they have been domesticated to humans over many centuries. So their wild instinct is suppressed.

  • Alright so, is it possible to have a pure bred wolf as pet in the netherlands.

I am aware of the difference of a wolf and a dog, i know how they act. Yadayada.

I am still studying. but when i am 18, i wish to keep one as pet.

  • Ive taken test, and they were all the same. Ive been told by an actual native american my spirit is intertwined with the wolf, and Ive done research, and my prime goal for my life is to own, no more protect wolves because they have that special bond to you like no other k-9 for they arew the origin of thespecies.thats my story.Still wolves are THEbest. It sounds biase but its true

  • @TheMetroidMadness I can appreciate your feelings about the wolf. I have had many people contact me since I wrote Cry Wolf, Cry who, like you, feel connected to the gray wolf. You are certainly not alone.
