where did you get the wiring diagram. I'm building a double neck with two humbuckers and can't find a wiring diagram for it. Would you have one? BTW: the last clip motivates me to finish my project. Thanks.
i always wear my double neck to the bottem guitar is slightly higher than a normal one. I know it sounds weird, but it's way easier to play it like that.
if u just got done working on a car then u could at least take a shower before touching that beautiful instrument. i would use hand sanitizer every time before i touched that thing
AHHH don't hang that thing on ONE hanger on the wall, put it up on two, so the one neck doesn't have to take the off balance-ness, learned that the hard way long ago
@drgrcr00 well... i don't know if it was MY neck or something, it was made by my uncle, his first double neck, but i hung it by the 12 string neck (thinking it would be stronger) BUT i woke up one night at a loud crack followed by that horrid sound out of tune strings when something hits them really hard and the fingerboard split from the because it was bending to the side cause of the offweight, we tried to repair it but it never ever felt the same, we even named the thing simon (for siamese)
thats so funny, i was sittin here waching this thinking about leaving a comment telling you to name it Eleanor, than at 1:17 you stole it out of my mind, Gone in sixty second rocks,
I got the paint from stewmac, Its really good paint, but you could try some duplicolor or something if youre on a budget, Im sure it would work pretty good too.
nice sounding guitar! though could do with cranking the bass on the amp... or maybe a bigger speaker. vis volume, get a more sensative amp, mod your existing amp, or wire a transformer into the output.(to boost output voltage)
yeah, but you could have some fun with that one aswell.
i got an ok sound out of the top of a little combo amp (one of those really shitty cheap ones) by adding a couple of risistors and plugging it into a large sealed cab with a 12" driver. (then again a few weeks later, i pushed it hard to be heard in a small pratice room and the hugely underrated power transformer blew. after that i couldnt be arsed.)
Its a pretty good guitar, for the money you cant beat it. the only thing with mine is the 6 string nut needs to be filled down, and its also very heavy(the weight doesn't bother me in the least) but other than that it plays and sounds very well
theres something called... ehmm, idk... A TUNER!

did you keep the stock pickups cuz if so those sound great, and you are a great guitar player, and builder lol
hubermsj 2 years ago
thanks man!!! that really means alot.
but yea, they are stock pickups, they're quiet and you have to really crank the volume to get em to sound good... but when you do, watch out!!! lol
