Uhmm..for you people who think it's a UFO destroying a meteor. How many meteors travel horizontally across the sky? We do have planes with powerful lasers that are used to shoot down missiles. We've had that technology for like 20 years. I'm pretty sure it was a military exercise. Please do your research before making such comments. They discredit ufology.

The one front is not a meteor since it did not burn out at the same rate as the rest. Actually on the film it never burn out at all. It does look like we were saved from an impact. Either by extra terrestrial or the USA top secret. Cool

The object slightly out in front of the large meteor mass is not a UFO - it's just a piece of the meteor that broke off and had slightly less drag. It burns up just like the rest of the meteor. This is definitely not an alien craft - classic meteor. There are mysteries up there (and elsewhere) yet to be identified and understood. So UFO buffs, get some discipline, study physics, hone your scientific knowledge, and don't embarrass us all by misidentifying a common sight like this.

I' with either Cas32dobbelt0 or OzlBeerMan here... either a meteor breaking up or a satellite on re-entry. Although the act we have what sounds like an official running commentary sways me more in the direction of a controlled re-entry of a satellite or other piece of space equipment, they burn up like that on re-entry.
