RHCP is a sick band and Frusciante had great musical chemistry with them. Snake is just a negative person. RHCP is about positivity so it makes sense that you don't get it. I'm not on anybody's nuts dude. Blood Sugar Sex Magic is my fav album of all time. So yeah, I think Frusciante is dope cus he rips it on that album. I guess you missed that

The guy is too busy ripping off riffs from other people or trying to be Hendrix to actually learn any technique. It's not that his riffs are simple, it's that he's incapable of keeping up with Flea or Chad's skill progression. There's such an obvious drop off in skill when you get to his instrumentals that I can't help but hate his work and his pretentious attitude toward music.

He literally always plays pentatonic. He doesn't have to get as many notes in a song as possible, but that fact demonstrates his limitations in ability. If you're not willing to branch out and explore what's out there, it takes the fun out of having a skill.
