@Transane difference is diving styles tought, the vehicle types. in the us, the standard police car is a big heavy bohemoth junker with suspension modifications and in some cases a supercharger or more powerful engine than stock. they are rwd, but they are caprices and crown vics and new dodge chargers, sand in some case challengers. they have good top speed advantage, but they are not true sports cars. the dodges are better than the gm junk but they still do not compare to the likes of bmw.
