@alxkrsh the side skirts are about 2" or less from the ground, put it to you like this, those cheap scissor jacks that come with our cars, they compress pretty low... and i can even get that under the car now, i gotta roll of on some wood to raise the car
LUKn GOOD......CLEAN SWEET RIDE......MY 99 SPYDER IZ A WRK IN PRGRZ.....check it out ....under (99 DSM ECLIPSE SPYDER 4 MY 16TH B-DAY)...n 2 mor videos......i agree .....heavy whlz suck.....sold my 18z.....got xxr 002 16x8 0 offset.....15lbs ea.....u can feel da difrntz
@miguelandoniez yeah i did a 2" also, im going to bag it now, because im back to the 17" rims and not whats seen in the video. I want to lay it out.. Yes flats suck, Its use to be such a pain in the ass to change the oil,.. being so low, So what I do now is roll the car on a thick block of wood, to allow me to get a jack under the side skirt.. works great, cause before I had to have someone push the car up and let me hurry and slide a jack under it lol
Thanks, I sold the rims, Im back to my 17" Racing Harts [bronze] The car is lowered 2" now, and I have to have another person help push the car up and down to throw a jack under it. Im considering air ride. Id like to have it slammed out for shows.
that looks soo sick though haha. if i ahd money id throw rims on the 740 ahah even though no one really does shit to 740's. but i want to get my wiring kit for it first i miss not haven a system in this car.
Thanks, With anything you just got to do things in steps and it will get there, I still have alot of things I want to do to the car, more so motor wise and it will take some time, Im looking to do a motor swap, and considering bolting the rear end of a gsx on to my spyder... but in time I will...
Nope, No wheel spacers at all, I had to make a rear camber kit, due to it being 2" lower, to keep the tire flat on the road, and use some rubber coil spacers rings to keep the softer springs from bottoming out on the tire, it fixed the problem and rides even better with a stiffer ride,
It's not flushed at all! .__. Not bad
