the orioles are terrible, get over it, they are the royals of the AL East. Theyre run poorly, scouted poorly, and some of the players even publicly insult the shit hole of a city that is baltimore.

the only thing bad about them is there pitching isnt great. they have a great hitting team. Plus the AL East is the most difficult division to be in because of all the great teams in it. I think they have a chance to get over 500 this year, and win the world series in 3 years.

The only thing bad about them isnt just pitching, as bad as their pitching truly is. Its also that they have the most pathetic front office in baseball. They have a very wealthy owner who either doesnt get the big FA, or does when it doesnt matter. He also hasn't been committed to winning since the mid 90s. But I do like that outfield, with all 3 players (Pie, Markakis, Jones) being former number 1 prospects for their clubs, and all ranked top 50 in baseball at one point. But WS in 3 years? No.

I say they have a chance every year. There line up is really a threat to any baseball team. If they can keep scoring as many runs as they've been doing nobody can touch them. Oh and, finally this season, a good shortstop!

I miss the MIAMI Orioles...now that was a team , baby!! We had Cal in his first full pro year; he had Flanny, Dennis AND Eddie..all in '74. We had Sammy, Shelby and Storm. We even had Terry and Drungo!!! And don't forget about Jim and Cal, Sr., when we were the Marlins! We had 'em all!!! Plus FOUR straight championships, to boot..from '69-'72. Then, of course, the big club in the spring, every year...wow! Good times... that I miss!
