We have several times the military budget they do, our military could wipe them out right now if we so desired. that wont happen though, because we have a nice arragement. China may have all the manufacturing in the world, but they still need a market place. We are that market.

Bill Clinton gave our most sensitive military technology to China. Probably a coincidence that he got tons of donations funneled through a front man for the Chinese military. Their intercontinental ballistic missiles are at least as good as ours and they are producing high tech US designed nuclear weapons.

The roots of the problem of the decline of industry in america go back a lot farther than clinton. America historically hasnt ben an extremely industrial nation. WWII changed that. Suddenly we are nearly the only first world country that has any unblemished and undamaged industry. We had little competiotion, everyone was buying our stuff. Once they rebuilt we didn't move quick enough to adapt in the right ways. No president since Nixom has taken on the trade deficit on. Will you?
