We're humans, we're free. We do what we want, but we lost the reason to fight, when we already forguet what we're fighting for. Do you think that if there where no Chistians in the world grudge against LGBT would stop? Well, I don't think so!

There are thousands or millios of gay men and women the beleve in God, and love Him, even with (religious and agnostic) people telling them such relationship is impossible.!
Hey GDProphetXVII! For start let me say that I undersdend that you, maybe(if), don´t like Christian people. Ok, it's your choice! Not to like them, as it's theire choice not to like GLBT people. No metter what the reason is for it, You ain't gonna win anything by always having a reserved bullet to shoot, "Christ", in your speaches.
I have a different rationalization. "A black guy told me this joke." But I really do feel that is a valid justification. Also, you have to question, is the joke, or the intent of the joke malicious. I only have one joke that I use "my" saying. "Why is Martin Luther King Blvd. always in black neighborhoods. So white people know where to get off the expressway for good ribs." See I just don't feel this joke is mean spirited. But I don't think ANYONE, Black or white should say (nigger).
NIGGERS OF EVERY COLOR ARE DISOBEDIENT DOGS IN TRAINING AS ALPHA DOG JESUS IS MAN WHISPEREER. HOMOSEXUAL ARE A RETARDED PEOPLE THAT MUST REPENT- LET A GAY MAN FIND A GAY WOMAN AND GAY WILL BE HAPPY AGAIN- DISGRUNTLED HOMOSEXUALS INVENT/PROMOTE ATHEISM TO KEEP RETADISM ALIVE AND WELL IN SODOM AND GOMORAH AMERICA- LAND OF FAITHLESS DOGS ABOUT TO EMBRACE WW2. JEWS ARE SCUMBAGS SAVED FROM OVENS BY CHRISTIANS AND STILL AN OLD DOG TOO UGLY TO REPENT-
i totally see where you are going, but seriously CHILL. Yes, it isn't right, but is the world of Politics, Religion, Fashion, Business, Advertising okay? Yes, but they all have flaws like this. i think you just need to let this fly over your head and just move along. but i do see what you are fighting for
Whatever. Sure people can be distasteful. But me and my friends tear each about because of stereotypes we have. its probably the biggest reason for most of our jubilation. And unless you've experienced it you won't understand that its also a sign of admiration and respect. If your all comfortable with yourselves and each other its not hurtful in the least. And is more mocking the stereotypes then the people.
Thanks for this vid, but I don' t agree with you: we need to be allowed to make fun out of people, it is just jokes.
We now have come to a world where no one can say anything: I remember not long ago where comedians could speak about everything but today, no matter what, some people will be offended: lawyers are happy.
C'mon, relax: everybody has their little differences, why not being able to laugh about it?
When we won' t be able to make fun about religion, sex, race.. it will be a sad world
First, if my 'friends' ever said this kind of shitake, I'm backing off. I hate when people try and justify their ignorance and say I have friends that are....my point is: If you're racist, homophobic, etc. Just say it don't beat around the bush!
@softvirus Well, first of all, I didn't say that Jesus was Jewish, the Republican I talked about did. That being said, Jesus was jewish because quite simply, Christianity didn't exist when Jesus was around. Plus, Jesus never taught anyone to worship him.
@GDProphetXVII i got the idea of ur video. and i agree with it. maybe jesus was jewish when he was young, but when he got the message from god with the new religion, i'm sure he believed in it and he became a christian.
and since I'm muslim, i totally believe and agree that he didnt ask anyone to worship him and he was not the son of god. but a messenger to deliver a message and he did. :D
@softvirus I'm sure he believed in himself... But the guy taught at a jewish temple at twelve, and died citing the scriptures, so as far as religion goes, I'm sure he qualifies as something akin to Jewish. The jewish and christian god is the same, so... Other than that, Jewish is also an ethnicity (one he most surely was), and also gets discriminated as such.
@kroozader hmm... such details could b changed over the years and no one knows for sure that this what happened. but anyway, religion is a very sensitive this to discuss. and i didnt want to be offensive towards anyone with my comments.
Discrimination is wrong ofcourse based on anything, religion, race, sex, or even sexuality.
and finally, I'd like to say the Islam, Jewdism and Christianity all believe in the same god. and there are alot of common stories.
@softvirus Hey, see, that I cannot argue with XD Sorry if I sounded snappy or something. Its just that, well, I'm a christian, but oh god I can barely stand what most Christians usually spew, and it gets me in a really bad mood, more than people who insult christians, actually, lol. Anyway, you too have a great day
religion is something between a person and his/her god. i believe.
and i also believe that if i expect people to respect me, i must respect others regardless to age, religion, race ...etc.
over the years there was people that went to extremes in every religion. but back in the days no one respected or helped them. nowadays they are on TV's and they have supporters. thats the problem.
I finally got the time and watched it, aren't you proud? Soo true though, I have heard that excuse so many times and it is complete BS. Loved the end, it made the video a little more relaxed :)
They are jokes. Based on your standards this classic George Carlin would be off limits:
"Well, you know, they say blondes have more fun,Unfortunately, they also have more VD. Just kind of goes with the territory, you know? I'll tell you something else, between herpes and AIDS, I don't care if I ever get laid again as long as I live.
And I'm certainly not gonna be humping any Haitian hemophiliac homosexual heroin addicts." I guess he was anti gay, Hatian, blonde, and hemophiliac?
Okay, you are definitely getting more buff. I thought maybe it was the shirt but nope, shoulders and pecs are popping, it's really starting to show. I think its time for you to show off a little ;p
I'm not dumping my friends cause they make gay jokes. And I only make sexist comments they are genuinely not funny. its like making a joke of a farce of human behaviour that isn't satirical. Its like teasing.
can you imagine a new mother making a dead baby joke?
My friend calls me faggot all the time. They are my best friend. They are under no circumstances a bad friend. It doesn't affend me whatsoever. My friend is mocking the people who are ACTUALLY homophobic.
I've never made that excuse. I don't like to offend people in the first place. I'd only tell offensive jokes around people who I knew were comfortable with it and found it funny, but if I found out they actually meant those things, I'd be appalled.
Yeah, I hate it if people actually mean it, and they think that doing things that would harm this person or behaving in a way that would harm this person is okay because their friend belongs to the same group. That's not being a friend. But if you really don't mean it and only think it's funny because you seriously disagree with what it says to the point where you think it's ridiculous, then it's okay, but only if the people you're around are comfortable with it.
what I hate even more is people of a certain group making jokes about their group themselves. a gay guy saying that someone is acting so gay and that because of this he doesn't like him. or constantly using gay in a bad way with the excuse that he can do it because he´s gay himself so it´s like picking on himself when in reality he gives others the excuse to do likewise. cause if someone gay does use the term in a bad way than surely it´s not hurting him so why should it hurt any other gays?
I think it's ok to make jokes about a friend. My best friend and I have known each other since we were kids, we've gone through hell together and helped each other out but we still rip the piss out of each other, when I do camp things she pulls the gay jokes out, when she does silly things I pull out the female jokes. But I do agree that to use these types of sayings on other people and then justify it with "my friend is..." is wrong. I get upset when people use gay as a derogatory term.
Hey, how are you? I enjoy watching your videos. Keep up the good work! If you ever come visit NYC, it would be very cool to meet you and your partner. Tom
Well I have a question.. My best friend is gay and he always makes gay jokes and calls my bi friend a "faggot" all the time. My one friend one time called my gay friend a faggot after he called my bi friend one and he got mad. What do you think of gay people making fun of gay people, but hating it when other people do?
@HangingJustChilling its irritating, i had a black roommate at uni, whod walk around calling everyone, well guess, soon as he said it to my other roommate, he just went dont say that, if i were to call you that you'd flip and you wouldn't take it, dont call anyone something your not ok being called yourself by anyone, he never said the n word again in front of us, and its fair point, dont call other people a faggot unless your ok being called it, and some people aren't ok so you shouldn't say it
HEY GUYS!!!!! Sorry for having to be that annoying guy, who feel the need to advertise.... every 3 freakin' seconds......>:P But Sadly... That is the role, I must take on :P XxHOMOSRIGHTSxX Is an up and coming LGBT youth videoblog, that tackle different topics, from social issues to just being plain FIERCE:P LOOK FORWARD TO HEARING AND SEEING YOU GUYS:D AND I HOPE YOU ALL HAVE AN AWESOME DAY !!!!!!!:PPPPPP
There wasn't really anything i didn't like about this video...If you're making a racist joke, then yes you're a little bit racist (sound familiar?) There's nothing wrong with being a little racist...there IS something wrong with being a little racist and denying it...grow up
i think you need to look at the individual contexts of the conversation, if someones saying a black joke because they think its a funny joke and say the excuse of its ok because... shows that there just making an ignorant comment with no harm intended, on a political level yes its different, but again your missing the point, they have no intention of causing offense and i think you need to see that in people sometimes if your to be a sucessful advocate
@GDProphetXVII I just have lol and i do see your point, and its a valid one and i find these comments ignorant but i dont take it to heart because i know the intent behind it, at the same time shows like south park, family guy, american dad etc, they target everyone and its only intended to be a joke, as ignorant as it is, unfortunately most stereotypes are based on some truth, the problem are the people that dont understand that everyones different, not just a black person or a gay person etc
... I say those jokes because I'm not uptight about things. Sometimes we do need to see our differences and what makes us unique so that we can understand each other. Our differences unit us.
Offending jokes are suppose to offend, and if they have offended then the joke has succeeded. Like the saying goes "He who has angered you has defeated you"
My mate went to a Deputy Head at her school to complain about "that's so gay", faggot, dyke etc being used to describe negative things in school and the teacher said my friend was being "too sensitive" and that she needs to ignore it. The teacher said that if it was racism everyone would be going nuts but that nothing could be done about that kind of language. Makes no sense to me! Discrimination is discrimination and should be stopped regardless of its target.
Dan, what do you think if it's 2 actual best friends like my case. I'm gay and my best friend is a straight native american, we poke small jokes at eachother like i'll tell him i will give him his land back for (insert whatever here)and he'll tell me only if you (insert sexual act here). We're best friends and have been ever since we were little because we grew up together. What do you think of our case? We only do it to eachother btw.
I'm gay and black but the funny thing is that I tell the most black jokes. I'm one of like 12 black guys that live in Iowa so everyone is scared to say it around me. LOL
Thank you for this! I ended a friendship with someone in large part because of the offensive emotionally abusive things he said to me that he thought he was justified for saying because we were "friends."
Some times I think you take some things too seriously...you're probably correct but...I don't know probably is a cultural difference between me and you and different status...
@RaruphoElfei I'm someone who thinks of the larger picture. I think about the overarching impacts on society the acceptance of this type of behavior is, and its very negative. Maybe not on the micro-level between two people as much, but when looking at it at a macro level, it is very harmful to society.
@GDProphetXVII Which society you're talking about?! I Have a theory the "middle class" trought the world is "pretty much the same" (not exactly of course but I can fell the same "middle class" behaviors) but when we are talking about "culture matters" itself it's comes up in a different way.
You take it as a offensive behavior but it is a middle term between acceptance and mind changing.
Human societies in general use to develop slowly with few rupture movements.
@GDProphetXVII I live in a strong catholic country that is usually very friendly to foreigners but to it's people it's quite different. I mean, to it's gay, woman, black, and every "minority" shows of another kind of behavior, rude, and at the same time "people here" don't take themselves too seriously and it creates a "soft and better" environment and brings up many problems due to authorities and laws.
i know these people..they are always faggot this & faggot that....thats so gay...blah blah.
But in all the time iv known them, they never just stopped for one minute and asked me of i was gay. I would of told them, yeah, i been there. All i can guess is that they enjoy'd saying these things out loud. Only time was when they were hanging together. Maybe trying to impress each other maybe?? I have no clue.
OMG, what are you doing there at the end of the video? hahaha I cracked up when I saw what you did with ur mouth right when you were trying to block the light and then you started to sing...thats a little bit wierd....but on the other hand, I truly respect what you had to say about "My best friend is..."
im gay, and i think its absolutely fine if a friend says gay jokes bc i say gay jokes bc they are JOKES!!!! jesus christ, jokes are called jokes bc they are JOKES. saying a joke doesnt make you homophobic or racist, it makes you funny. if the joke is truly meant to just be a joke then its fine bc its okay too laugh at stereotypes.
if someone says a joke bc they are trying to put people down, then that isnt a joke, its called being mean. so when my friends and i say jokes, we're just joking
I think you make an EXCELLENT point! The truth is, "jokes are just jokes" ignores the fact that people too often use humor to disguise and express deep-seated hostility. Humor is awesome--laughing is one of the best medicines in life, and learning to laugh at yourself is a great gift to cultivate. But disparaging and damaging remarks ALWAYS take a toll, no matter how cloaked in humor they might be. The key is KNOWING your friends, and the TRUE intent behind their words.
@customerjay Thank you!!!! I'd love to just put this comment as a reply to everyone who has commented that I think I've gone too far because jokes are just jokes! You're an angel!!
@GDProphetXVII Aww...fanx and stuff! Don't worry about the flack you're getting...rattling cages will do that! Unfortunately, we as human beings sometimes react negatively to what we need to hear...time, afterthought, and introspection can do wonders! If you want to parrot what I said, go right ahead! I saw a clip that you and your partner are living in Phoenix now? GREAT city...some of the most awesome sunsets I have ever seen! And also scorpions that get in the laundry...be careful!
I can't help but notice that you talk with your hands a lot. Is this an everyday thing you do or is it just in your youtube videos? Just an observation.
this video is soo good!!! i actually love a lots of your videos, i like the way you think and the message you bring keep doing what ur doing !! have a very good day!
ummm, i sorta see what you mean but, my best of best friends one is bisexual(girl) and the other his a out in your face flaming homosexual and he referce to himself asa faggot we call them faggots or bufus all the time and he finds nothing wrong with it at all. so what should we have to watch what we say just because some people dont like those words??
and i myself am bisexual. and i can turn that around because most of the gay people i meet tell me that i need to make up my mind.not fair eh?
but, isn't that part of the funny part.... that u really don't mean it???? idk, im not racist at all.... but i joke about gay, (im gay) mexicans (im half mexican) muscles dudes (im a one) mmmmm people with accent (i got my accent) blacks (my mom's black) hahahaha.... just saying....
I agree to a certain extent. Persecuting someone under the excuse of having friends like them is not good. However, making a joke is not the same thing as persecution. Jokes shouldn't be taken seriously. Everyone is eventually the butt of a joke and should just take it in their stride. Making blonde jokes or women jokes or gay jokes doesn't make you a jerk. Making serious statements against those people does. I think you're right in essence, but this is taking it a bit far.
@Pixiesoapbox My point is that people cannot justify their bad behavior simply because they have best friends that are directly impacted by that behavior. Look at my Texas example. Don't look for a justification to say racist and sexist etc. jokes
@GDProphetXVII Your Texas example has nothing to do with jokes. Persecuting people isn't the same as a joke. Justifying jokes about a stereotype is different to justifying actual bad behaviour. Of course I disagree with what happened in Texas, but I don't think the two concepts can be argued simultaneously.
@Pixiesoapbox I believe they can. On a micro-level, jokes between friends might seem to have little negative impact. However, those ideas, those stereotypes start to become subconscious truths to the teller and those who hear the jokes and start to play themselves out in actual behavior. Imagine a joke about black people stealing, then later the person sees a story about black people stealing and subconcsiously they think "hey, its true." Its not true, but the joke helped make it so. Get it?
@GDProphetXVII I personally don't think any of the jokes I've heard about black people or gay people or whatever have affected my ideas of those groups, but I could believe that this might be the case in other people, or even in myself in ways that I don't notice. Honestly though, I'm not convinced of how big an effect stereotype jokes have on prejudice, if any.
Separately, thanks for taking the time to respond to my comments and clarify. You're really making me consider this thoroughly.
My friends are all mean, lots of gay jokes, racist jokes. and we are mostly bisexuals and gays and we do it more when we have a black friend around. We be like, "Oh sorry Devin, they don't have grape soda". It's almost like a competition who can say the most outlandish thing.
Or you can just stop being sensitive and taking everything so seriously.
Being so concerned with racist jokes and prejudices doesn't hurt anyone but yourself. Life's too short and WAY too valuable to waste on getting offended and being hurt by silly things like that...
Chill out and enjoy life instead of being so angry at the world ;)
I have to say - my gay friends and I will call each other "queer" and "faggot" in the same way that two black guys will call each other niggers, and when another friend of mine tried to join in and was like "yeah you dumb faggot" my gay friends and I looked at him in a dude-that's-not-cool-don't-do-that-again kind of way. He never has :P
It's not that any of us found it offensive, we just thought "nope - you're not gay, you can't say that in a non-homophobic way. Sorry, straight-boy"
I murdered a person. But it's okay, my best friend is doctor, he's helped a few people not die, so ... I'm justified!
Seriously, people that have to use their friendship as an excuse have serious problem with their relationships with people and probably don't even begin to realize what friendship really is. Unfortunately, knowing people enough, I think most of them will be in denial, even if they saw this video.
BTW, I never knew you sing, @GDProphetXVII . You sound good :o
Your so dumb! I'm bi and I always call my straight friends faggots and I call my WHITE best friend "Nigger" all the time. They're called jokes. So get fucking used to it!!!
@mingrat1 part of what hes talking about is how people use this bullshit excuse to justify their prejudice to other people. Saying a racist or homophobic comment to Another person cause your best friend is whatever race or orientation. So i mean if ur talking ONLY to ur friend who also talks back to you like this then fine do whatever you want but its a problem when people do it to friends who maybe not be okay with it or to strangers
This is a great video! As a gay black man I'm the butt of a lot of these kinds of jokes and they are always followed by: "It's okay my best friend is gay/black!" It pisses me off SO FRIGGIN MUCH!
I know this is not a specific place to talk about politics but this question that i am about to ask you goes beyond politics, last night the "Dream Act" was passed, i wanted to ask your opinion over this matter. What do you think of it? last night i spent some time on Facebook arguing with this one person who was being so awful to the illegal student as if it where some bug to step on and kill.
Sarah Palin used the "best gay friend" defense here:

So why is it ok for same race to call eachother n... as a home bro thing (context) but we cant cross that line (same context) over the race boundary.
Like, i can call my white friends "yo my n... " and its perfectly fine.

When we won' t be able to make fun about religion, sex, race.. it will be a sad world

i like the idea of the video. but just a note for the record.
Jesus was NOT jewish. if he was, jews would not crucified him.
but i totally agree, no one should make racist comments or jokes because its offensive to someone. regardless the reason why.
softvirus 1 year ago
@softvirus Seriously dude? Romans crucified him, and yes, he was as Jewish as they come.
kroozader 1 year ago
@kroozader i thought Jesus believed the religion he brought. Christianity...
softvirus 1 year ago
@softvirus Well, first of all, I didn't say that Jesus was Jewish, the Republican I talked about did. That being said, Jesus was jewish because quite simply, Christianity didn't exist when Jesus was around. Plus, Jesus never taught anyone to worship him.
GDProphetXVII 1 year ago
@GDProphetXVII i got the idea of ur video. and i agree with it. maybe jesus was jewish when he was young, but when he got the message from god with the new religion, i'm sure he believed in it and he became a christian.
and since I'm muslim, i totally believe and agree that he didnt ask anyone to worship him and he was not the son of god. but a messenger to deliver a message and he did. :D
softvirus 1 year ago
@softvirus I'm sure he believed in himself... But the guy taught at a jewish temple at twelve, and died citing the scriptures, so as far as religion goes, I'm sure he qualifies as something akin to Jewish. The jewish and christian god is the same, so... Other than that, Jewish is also an ethnicity (one he most surely was), and also gets discriminated as such.
kroozader 1 year ago
@kroozader hmm... such details could b changed over the years and no one knows for sure that this what happened. but anyway, religion is a very sensitive this to discuss. and i didnt want to be offensive towards anyone with my comments.
Discrimination is wrong ofcourse based on anything, religion, race, sex, or even sexuality.
and finally, I'd like to say the Islam, Jewdism and Christianity all believe in the same god. and there are alot of common stories.
have a nice day/eve ;-)
softvirus 1 year ago
@softvirus Hey, see, that I cannot argue with XD Sorry if I sounded snappy or something. Its just that, well, I'm a christian, but oh god I can barely stand what most Christians usually spew, and it gets me in a really bad mood, more than people who insult christians, actually, lol. Anyway, you too have a great day
kroozader 1 year ago
@kroozader you didnt sound snappy or anything.
religion is something between a person and his/her god. i believe.
and i also believe that if i expect people to respect me, i must respect others regardless to age, religion, race ...etc.
over the years there was people that went to extremes in every religion. but back in the days no one respected or helped them. nowadays they are on TV's and they have supporters. thats the problem.
anyway god bless all and have a good day ;-)

And I'm certainly not gonna be humping any Haitian hemophiliac homosexual heroin addicts." I guess he was anti gay, Hatian, blonde, and hemophiliac?

corey75952 1 year ago
I've never made that excuse. I don't like to offend people in the first place. I'd only tell offensive jokes around people who I knew were comfortable with it and found it funny, but if I found out they actually meant those things, I'd be appalled.
SaruCharmed 1 year ago
Yeah, I hate it if people actually mean it, and they think that doing things that would harm this person or behaving in a way that would harm this person is okay because their friend belongs to the same group. That's not being a friend. But if you really don't mean it and only think it's funny because you seriously disagree with what it says to the point where you think it's ridiculous, then it's okay, but only if the people you're around are comfortable with it.
SaruCharmed 1 year ago
what I hate even more is people of a certain group making jokes about their group themselves. a gay guy saying that someone is acting so gay and that because of this he doesn't like him. or constantly using gay in a bad way with the excuse that he can do it because he´s gay himself so it´s like picking on himself when in reality he gives others the excuse to do likewise. cause if someone gay does use the term in a bad way than surely it´s not hurting him so why should it hurt any other gays?
HyperSpeziFisch 1 year ago
I think it's ok to make jokes about a friend. My best friend and I have known each other since we were kids, we've gone through hell together and helped each other out but we still rip the piss out of each other, when I do camp things she pulls the gay jokes out, when she does silly things I pull out the female jokes. But I do agree that to use these types of sayings on other people and then justify it with "my friend is..." is wrong. I get upset when people use gay as a derogatory term.

MrSmaccoms 1 year ago
i think you need to look at the individual contexts of the conversation, if someones saying a black joke because they think its a funny joke and say the excuse of its ok because... shows that there just making an ignorant comment with no harm intended, on a political level yes its different, but again your missing the point, they have no intention of causing offense and i think you need to see that in people sometimes if your to be a sucessful advocate
FF9MovieMaker 1 year ago
@FF9MovieMaker check out what I've said to other comments here, I've already addressed this
GDProphetXVII 1 year ago
@GDProphetXVII I just have lol and i do see your point, and its a valid one and i find these comments ignorant but i dont take it to heart because i know the intent behind it, at the same time shows like south park, family guy, american dad etc, they target everyone and its only intended to be a joke, as ignorant as it is, unfortunately most stereotypes are based on some truth, the problem are the people that dont understand that everyones different, not just a black person or a gay person etc
FF9MovieMaker 1 year ago

@RaruphoElfei I'm someone who thinks of the larger picture. I think about the overarching impacts on society the acceptance of this type of behavior is, and its very negative. Maybe not on the micro-level between two people as much, but when looking at it at a macro level, it is very harmful to society.
GDProphetXVII 1 year ago 2
@GDProphetXVII Which society you're talking about?! I Have a theory the "middle class" trought the world is "pretty much the same" (not exactly of course but I can fell the same "middle class" behaviors) but when we are talking about "culture matters" itself it's comes up in a different way.
You take it as a offensive behavior but it is a middle term between acceptance and mind changing.
Human societies in general use to develop slowly with few rupture movements.

Pixiesoapbox 1 year ago
@Pixiesoapbox My point is that people cannot justify their bad behavior simply because they have best friends that are directly impacted by that behavior. Look at my Texas example. Don't look for a justification to say racist and sexist etc. jokes
GDProphetXVII 1 year ago
@GDProphetXVII Your Texas example has nothing to do with jokes. Persecuting people isn't the same as a joke. Justifying jokes about a stereotype is different to justifying actual bad behaviour. Of course I disagree with what happened in Texas, but I don't think the two concepts can be argued simultaneously.
Pixiesoapbox 1 year ago
@Pixiesoapbox I believe they can. On a micro-level, jokes between friends might seem to have little negative impact. However, those ideas, those stereotypes start to become subconscious truths to the teller and those who hear the jokes and start to play themselves out in actual behavior. Imagine a joke about black people stealing, then later the person sees a story about black people stealing and subconcsiously they think "hey, its true." Its not true, but the joke helped make it so. Get it?
GDProphetXVII 1 year ago
@GDProphetXVII I personally don't think any of the jokes I've heard about black people or gay people or whatever have affected my ideas of those groups, but I could believe that this might be the case in other people, or even in myself in ways that I don't notice. Honestly though, I'm not convinced of how big an effect stereotype jokes have on prejudice, if any.
Separately, thanks for taking the time to respond to my comments and clarify. You're really making me consider this thoroughly.
