The only way you can REALLY call yourself a 90's kid is if you watched things like spiderman, Power rangers, x-men, and not just toddler shows like telutubbies. Or if u remeber TGIF on ABC and other sitcoms. These are KIDS BTW not TEENS (for those born in early/mid 80's).
But for those born in the late 90's its not that big of a deal If u dont remember th 90's. You'll be doin the same thnig in 9-10 years about the 00's.

Those born in the early-mid 90s saying they are more of a 90s kid than those born in the late part are stupid because at the end of the day, nobody born in the 90s remembers most of the decade with the early 90s kids remembering probably only half the decade at most.

people need to stop telling people whether they are 90's kids or not! especially with the tv shows, they forget that there were probably a billion reruns of the shows so that even if kids dont remember them premiering, those shows make up a huge part of their childhood memories. plus, fashion culture trends often last for a while so again, people can't say that someone does or doesn't remember it based on their age. being a 90s kid is based on memories, not dates

@MidnightSun201 Actually technically, you ALSO kind of have to be born in the 90's whether it's 91 or 99 (But you had to experience AND STILL REMEMBER TO THIS DAY at least 75% of the 90's "mainstream" before the new millenium started)... The 2000 babies don't count. Although it is true that the 90's shows continued on into the 2000's, that's when everything started to suck.

I was born 92. So I can remember things like late 90's onwards. Things like Godzilla in the cinema, and a few years later the Fellowship of the Ring in the cinema, 9/11 etc. A late 90's BORN child wouldn't recall such things, even if they were 'there'.

In my eyes a 1990's kid is a kid who grew in the 1990's. Age is regardless. If you want to say your more of of 1990's kid because you lived through the most of it then fair enough, but I think 90's kid applies too any kid who grew in the 1990's. And I suppose you have to remember it, so a person born in 1999 isn't really a 1990's kid. Just because someone was a 1990's toddler doesn't mean they weren't there. Anyway, these videos are all TV shows. Why not get into specifics? What channels were they? Commercials, videogames. What current events do you remember? KIDS wouldn't watch Fresh Prince. You have to be a KID you're entire time in a decade to be considered a KID. Someone born in the early 80's is in highschool by the mid 90's that's not a KID.
i rembember all of the 90s considering it lasted for me from the ages of 4 to 13 and i can safely say the kids tv then was the best ever compared with the 00s and nowadays .
smurf was from the 80s so I doubt most kids born in the 80s remember when it came out. And scooby doo was from the 60s, Tom and Jerry was from the 40s, so "90s kids" and probably their parents as well, weren't even around lol!
ahh! 1:11! I was recently talking to my older brother asking him if he remembered the "face" that was on Nick. He thought I was on crack and had no idea what I was talking about. 90s were the golden years of TV, unlike now! I was a Ragdoll's kid when it came to TV: Tots TV (like almost completely obsessed!), Rosie and Jim (like it so much I had a birthday cake shaped like the boat!) and The Teletubbies (got a Po scooter for my 4th birthday!), plus I loved visiting their shop in Stratford. Now they've taken Rosie & Jim off completely, re-made Tots and taken off the Teletubbies!

When I was younger I had all of this, watched all the show's and never really watched all the newer shows or toys. So yeah I do classify myself as a 90's kid. I remember a lot of stuff from when I was 4, and a little from when I was 3, but nothing really before that. Since I was born at the end of 1991 I'd be more like a '92 person, so my "kid" years would have been 1997-2004. But I also remember '95 and '96 and did some of the things that kids did those years. But I don't claim to remember any of the early 90s because I was obviously way too little.

In 98 and 99 you experienced the millenium pop culture, not the 90s pop culture, then you went on to be 7-9 for the rest of the millenim pop culture in 2000-02. And were still only 10 when noughties culutre began in 03. So... anyone born in 1993 or later is not a 90s kid! Thoe born in 1993 or later are 2000s kids and 90s babies.

people need to stop telling people whether they are 90's kids or not! especially with the tv shows, they forget that there were probably a billion reruns of the shows so that even if kids dont remember them premiering, those shows make up a huge part of their childhood memories. plus, fashion culture trends often last for a while so again, people can't say that someone does or doesn't remember it based on their age. being a 90s kid is based on memories, not dates

@MidnightSun201 Actually technically, you ALSO kind of have to be born in the 90's whether it's 91 or 99 (But you had to experience AND STILL REMEMBER TO THIS DAY at least 75% of the 90's "mainstream" before the new millenium started)... The 2000 babies don't count. Although it is true that the 90's shows continued on into the 2000's, that's when everything started to suck.

I was born 92. So I can remember things like late 90's onwards. Things like Godzilla in the cinema, and a few years later the Fellowship of the Ring in the cinema, 9/11 etc. A late 90's BORN child wouldn't recall such things, even if they were 'there'.

@deathball22 Yeah, I don't mind admiting I'm a 00s kid, but whats annoying is that the big, tough 90s kids take the bad things of the late 00s, and automatically assume thats all we grew up with, like that comment about the penguins of madagascar. I've never seen that show, and I was 11 when it started, which was just about my childhood over, but its still slapped over me because I'm a "00s kid".

In my eyes a 1990's kid is a kid who grew in the 1990's. Age is regardless. If you want to say your more of of 1990's kid because you lived through the most of it then fair enough, but I think 90's kid applies too any kid who grew in the 1990's. And I suppose you have to remember it, so a person born in 1999 isn't really a 1990's kid. Just because someone was a 1990's toddler doesn't mean they weren't there. They still remember it just as much as the 90's kids, just not all of it

the time the 80s was over but I grew up through all of the 90s. That makes you a 90s kid. I was a kid ALL through the 90s and remember all of it from the ages of 5 and upwards when you are a KID. Not a BABY. So 1990 you were 9 at the end of the 90s still growing up not even 10. 1992 you were 8 years old still a KID in the millennium/2000s. Facts are facts.
You might have watched reruns but not the originals. I watch shows from the 80s but still NOT an 80s kid. Same goes for kids born in the 90

Anyway, these videos are all TV shows. Why not get into specifics? What channels were they? Commercials, videogames. What current events do you remember? KIDS wouldn't watch Fresh Prince. 90s were the golden years of TV, unlike now! I was a Ragdoll's kid when it came to TV: Tots TV (like almost completely obsessed!), Rosie and Jim (like it so much I had a birthday cake shaped like the boat!) and The Teletubbies (got a Po scooter for my 4th birthday!), plus I loved visiting their shop in Stratford. Now they've taken Rosie & Jim off completely, re-made Tots and taken off the Teletubbies!
So this is a pleasant stroll down memory lane...

I remember a lot of stuff from when I was 4, and a little from when I was 3, but nothing really before that. Since I was born at the end of 1991 I'd be more like a '92 person, so my "kid" years would have been 1997-2004. But I also remember '95 and '96 and did some of the things that kids did those years. But I don't claim to remember any of the early 90s because I was obviously way too little.

@ilove1994 You have to discount under 4 since your just baby/toddler so up to 97 doesn't count for you. In 98 and 99 you experienced the millenium pop culture, not the 90s pop culture, then you went on to be 7-9 for the rest of the millenim pop culture in 2000-02. And were still only 10 when noughties culutre began in 03. So... anyone born in 1993 or later is not a 90s kid! Thoe born in 1993 or later are 2000s kids and 90s babies.

@CherryFrog321 childhood does not start when you can remember it starts when you are born. 1990 and 1991 is actually the best time to be born to be a true 90s child. theres a difference between being a child in a decade and actually being a child of a decade. 80s babies started in the 80s. 1990 would be the purest of 90s kids.

@SuperMarioWorld90s actually it starts at one. look up childhood on wikipedia it will tell you that childhood begins at birth. 90 and 91 best years to be born.

FACT : everyone born 1990 - 1992 is a hybrid they are 90s and 00s kids . YEAH EVEN born in 1992 count as being BOTH. not just a 00s kid. BECAUSE born in 90 - 92 mean your childhood is pretty equal in both decades !!!

I was born in 1996 so I don't remember most of the stuff. I remember there being Tarzan stickers on the doors at the cinema and there were the Tarzan toys you could get in your happy meal.I remember Charlie Chalk and Budgie the Little Helicopter :)

I was a 90's kid, born in 87, the 90's was a great decade. Life wasn'tdependant on a mobile phone, Oasis v Blur was the UK no 1 battle every 6 weeks for 2 years, Merlins Premier League football stickers were th main source of playground amusement, and your portable music player of choice whirred and ran off Double A's.
