Sadly the Mayor of Waitakere, Bob Harvey has confirmed that the body of Aisling has been found near the Henderson property where two-year-old Aisling Symes went missing.

Thoughts and prayers for her parents and whanau at this time. RIP Aisling.

My son wandered off before when he was the same age as Aisling ..I was panicked and didn't where to look for him..it was night...after hours of looking and asking people I found him at the police precinct safe and sound. It taught me a huge lesson. To Aisling..I am praying for you.. God will look after you and bring you back home.

A terrible thing that has happened.This sort of thing hardly ever happens in New Zealand and it has shocked the whole nation.The little girl was close to her mom on the day that it happened.Her mom was checking out a tap on a washing machine,turned to the little girl and said 'Now we'll check the other tap'. The mom then checked the other tap, turned back around and the little girl had gone.Vanished, could not find her anywhere.I hope and pray that she will come home safely soon.
