You can "renew" your Golden AK-47 by buying the normal AK-47 (if you don't already have it) and switching your Golden AK to normal AK. Then pick up the Golden AK and it should be as good as new!

Go to a gun store , purchase ak-47 , go to armory , now when you have the gold AK-47 just swap it with the regular , then pick the golden one back up. Walk outside and HUZZAH! it's repaired. So you don't have to worry about losing it ;D

there's a trick to get a brand "new" one without finding every one. if u take a golden AK to the shop and go to ur AK (buy one if don't have it), then switch from golden to normal. now switch back to the golden one, and it will be as good as new! this is because they made golden from normal script etc. and when it's brand new, all other AKs u pick up will be new too! this has been tested by me many times and it works! (PS3 at least)

I found one in the game (before I watched this video) and my first thought is: "man, I can´t ever drop this weapon, but what if I want to change my weapon?" I´m in serious trouble right now. @madgamer46 that's the thing. they never break. they're the most reliable guns in the whole game. and you can only use one at a time. and yes they only spawn once, even though you only need 1 or 2 if you got one in act 1 then moved to act 2

yes golden ak47 is like any other gun exept it takes longer time to jam and wear off and evantuly brake i been using the golden ak47 since yesterday and it jamed for the 1st time just now and it also wears off... i have no idea how many rounds i fired but its propably over 1200 rounds whit the golden ak47..idono about the crates if they repair it i just statred playing the game yesterday so havent bough it yet im dimond hunting lol:]
