The ones designed for killing rodents fire metal pellets rather than plastic BBs. The weapon shown in this video uses metal pellets. It's also possible that this is just a powerful weapon.

I myself own numerous real firearms, two shotguns, two rifles, a muzzle loader and a revolver, and i can kind of understand where haters come from, i used to think '' O, they are wimps who cant shoot real guns ''. Then i kinda got into a group of airsofters at my school, its cool for because you can have the sense of shooting automatics and military grade guns you couldnt own or afford the real version off, and of course, shooting your friends with real guns isnt a good idea =P

But if you were shot with this desert eagle, which can fire a .50 round, in the foot, that would obviously not kill you. The weapons are unrealistic still. If you were to shoot a M4 in real life and a M4 in "call of duty" it would shoot a LOT different.
