It seems like a mantra that they remixed. Its supposed to be repetitive and there's a purpose why it is. Well they did a good job of remixing a mantra into something that will fit modern taste. As far as im concerned this goes on my mp3 for life!

Electric tune, the world just wasn't ready for something like this back in 97, pity they couldn't wait 12 years, still doesn't take away from the wonderful sound they created!
So true on what you said there, the music scene isn't ready for Kula Shaker in the 90's. The mystic and beauty of their tune will never fade no matter how lone time pass.
well this list of comments has confused me.... I know very little about the other traditions nor do I recognise any of your mantras, I'm a resident lay practitioner with the New Kadampa Tradition, we live within the monastic community and live by all but one of the same rules (lay have no celebacy vow) could someone explain if these groups mentioned are buddhist or hindu or what? and what limits does a lay practitioner have compared with the ordained?
What you are practicing is Buddhisim. Thats why you cant recognize any of these mantras. Most buddhist slokas/stotras (mantras) are based in 'Pali' or Prakrit' languages whereas Hindu slokas are in 'Sanskrit'. The life of an ordained be it in Hinduism or Buddhism is the same more or less with celibacy, vegan diet, daily rituals etc(with minor differences among sub-cults/offshoots). If you need further info on Hinduism, send me a message.
i prefer his mother's lets get together. krishnas ruin rock stars. it ruined george harrison, and youth of today.
its a great belief system until they get famous rich people and then they become remoras. no personal possessions only means something if you arent taking them.
1) I doubt if Krishna really ruined Harrison or Y.O.T. 2) Besides that, Crispian Mills belongs to the Gaudiya Matha (of which ISKCON or the "Hare Krishna movement" is a split-off (and not the other way around)), and the practices are somewhat different. 3) And please do not confuse monastic standards with the regular lives of practicioners that do not live in temples. 4)And maybe just a nice point to finish: by the way: Crissie Hynde is a disciple of the same spiritual master Crispian Mills has.
Well, then what is that guy asperin doing on your profile who seems to be a jew hater & a fanatic moslem??
Well, one man's symbol of peace/immortality/the self[swastika] is the obverse symbol[poison?] for his antagonists, that is logically evident & fairly acceptable.
Wow! That's utterly bizarre! I'm not a Muslim in the slightest! Nor was Krishna a Nazi or an anti-semite. I don't talk to racists and especially not Nazis sympathisers! This is the last communication we will have. Don't bother replying.

Govinda Jaya Jaya
All glories to Govinda (protector of Cows, Krishna, God)
Gopala Jaya Jaya
All glories to Gopala (same person)
Radha Ramana Hari
The lover of Radha
And then it goes,
Narshimhadev, jaya Narshrimhadev
All glories to Lord Narsimha (Protector of bhaktas, the devotees of Krishna)
And then they mention Prabhupada, the person that brought the Hare Krishna movement to the west.
