well guys if u watch planet hulk (this is a spoiler btw) the red king tries to break his own world by tearing it apart. to stop it hulk goes in the core of the planet and he *un-breaks it by using his mere hands to pull it back to together in order for the world to stop splitting. but he can also destroy an asteroid the size of a planet with a concentrated punch. read the marvel encyclopedia guys

I'm sure the Hulk could potentially become mad enough and strong enough to overpower Superman and throw him through the moon and beyond, but he needs time to work his way up to that level of power. He only starts out at a 100 ton base strength, whereas Superman's strength is normally in the megaton range. So as long as Supes doesn't wait around too long, he should be able to knock him out easily.

For Superman to win against Hulk, all Superman need to do is fight Hulk in the air or in space, keep Hulk airborne at zero gravity and prevent Hulk from landing at all cost. Why you ask? ANSWER: Hulk can't fly and if you can't fly, you have no control, vulnerable of not being able to counter back with any offensive attack. Superman will simply keep punting Hulk in the air or space preventing Hulk from landing until Hulk gets exhausted and says "UNCLE" to Superman. A simple win for Superman.

Hulk is nothing to Superman. And Hulk's power is not endless as RAGE isn't the only human emotion that exist, nor is an emotion the strongest nor is an emotion that is infinite. Rage can be overcome by depression, humor, love pains, boredom, and many other human emotion elements. Supe whooped Hulk more than 3X.

If this is true then why does it mention in the official Marvel handbook the crossover's story including the fan voted ones? It hardly makes sense to have ones non-canon and other canon yet have both in the book. It still seems to me that it isn't proper canon and stilla fanservice even if it links the stories loosly.
@TheBoredomOtaku The Marvel Handbook isnt exactly a great place to look for information as opposed to the comics. They make errors and there are a good number of inconstancies. Furthermore if you actually read what the authors of the crossovers say, which I highly doubt you did, they explain certain things to you.
And really, you shouldnt consider fan voted ones to begin with. If we did Hulk would beat everyone because people like you would vote.
And Hulk survives JOHNY STORMS "nova" he couldnt survive a real one, let alone the one Superman was in which was a 50X Kepler Supernova. And Nukes? Superman has taken around 100,000 at once and wasnt even hurt. And that was a real feat.

Please tell me just so I know you are using modern current supes vs modern current Hulk. You keep mentioning these feats and if superman went all out but which one? Anyway as I have said these feats don't equal what he can do in a fight against Hulk, the closest reference to a similar matchup would be Doomsday.

Doomsday has dynamic strength just like Hulk, he can also fly, is immune to energy and magic, he is immune to time, and pretty much unbeatable now. He is walking plot device and if Hulk EVER went anywhere NEAR Doomsday he would murder Hulk.
DDay is strong yes but do you honestly think he can be anywhere near the strength levels of the Hulk? Hulk has shown insane feats of physical strength and unless fighting gods or cosmics has not shown any lmits he can't overcome. What has DDay done? The way the Hulk DDay fight would go is Hulk would defeat him through overpowering with strength but DDay will return unable to be killed again leading to stalemate since hulk is stronger but DDay can't die.

Hulk gets stronger the longer he is mad so his strength is actually limitless. Hulk can survive in space and the sun...and since Doomsday killed superman yet is weaker than the Hulk why didn't he do that to Doomsday?

And the mountain feat is nothing compared to Superman's. He has stopped planet sized ships coming out of hyperspace. When we compare everything Superman is above Hulk, and would win. Hulk doesnt just keep getting stronger in fights,he has limits.
@Fierce5 His strength is said to be limitless as with his rage, but this isnt the case when we use fights with him. On many occasions he couldnt overpower Thor, even with leverage. He recently got BRUTALLY beaten by Zeus, who was only using physical force, and he beat him so bad Hulk's regeneration stopped working and he nearly died. Hulk has been beaten many times, when he was going all out. The "he gets madder forever" argument isnt factual. If Superman went all out Hulk would be done.
@Fierce5 As I said Zues is also a god, put a god against any mortal and they are pretty much screwed even if it is Hulk or Superman. Bringing Zues into a Hulk fight is like bringing a nuke to a pillow fight. The real way Hulks rage and strength work is to a certain degree the madder he is the stronger he gets but there is a limit to rage however Hulk also gets stronger the longer he is mad, rage only speeds up the strength growth while afterwards how long he is the Hulk determines it.

Even weak Galactus can still eat Superman or make a new universe. Superman may be able to harm him but it wouldn't be anything serious and Galactus would just crush him.

I just want you to not just disregard Hulk altogether without looking at his potential and his own feats, they may not be as outstanding as Supes but that doesn't make him any less a challenge. Likewise that doesn't mean Supes can't beat him.

@Fierce5 I do agree that Hulk could win some matches as would Superman, at baseline strength Superman is stronger than all versions of Hulk who have just transformed from Banner, after a while Hulk get's pissed and potentially overpowers supes in strength and durability. I think Supes could win between 50%-60% of matches because he is faster and has to take Hulk down ASAP. But if he messes up or Hulk has his guard up long enough he will gradually get stronger and eventually stomp supes.

@Fierce5 Here is an example of an outcome, Hulk uses his Thunderclap, not only can this put Superman off course when flying suddenly but it can cause some serious disorientation. Superman has enhanced hearing, on a much higher level than Wolverine and the clap defeaned and disorented him lethaly, imagine what it could do to Supes with his superiou hearing. During the disorientaion Hulk has a chance to strike and potentially knock out a deafened kryptonian. That's 1 outcome there are many more.

I'm sure the Hulk could potentially become mad enough and strong enough to overpower Superman and throw him through the moon and beyond, but he needs time to work his way up to that level of power. He only starts out at a 100 ton base strength, whereas Superman's strength is normally in the megaton range. So as long as Supes doesn't wait around too long, he should be able to knock him out easily.

In other comics, the Omega has also killed Hulk. A gamma explosion also killed Hulk. Thor also snapped the Hulk's neck & killed the Hulk just to avoid a useless fight.

ok, let me simplify this to the non comic readers or people not familiar with both icons. hulk is or potentially is everybit as strong as superman yes, his healing, not soo much. on a arizona sunny day, superman heals faster than anything, but it'll all come down to durrability and stamina, in the end superman's got it, he can sauna on the sun and survive, not to mention he can keep a slugfest going for decades. where as hulk will tire out long before then. be a hella fight to see though i admit

For Superman to win against Hulk, all Superman need to do is fight Hulk in the air or in space, keep Hulk airborne at zero gravity and prevent Hulk from landing at all cost. Why you ask? ANSWER: Hulk can't fly and if you can't fly, you have no control, vulnerable of not being able to counter back with any offensive attack. Superman will simply keep punting Hulk in the air or space preventing Hulk from landing until Hulk gets exhausted and says "UNCLE" to Superman. A simple win for Superman.

Hulk is nothing to Superman. And Hulk's power is not endless as RAGE isn't the only human emotion that exist, nor is an emotion the strongest nor is an emotion that is infinite. If this is true then why does it mention in the official Marvel handbook the crossover's story including the fan voted ones? It hardly makes sense to have ones non-canon and other canon yet have both in the book. It still seems to me that it isn't proper canon and stilla fanservice even if it links the stories loosly.

@TheBoredomOtaku The Marvel Handbook isnt exactly a great place to look for information as opposed to the comics. They make errors and there are a good number of inconstancies. Furthermore if you actually read what the authors of the crossovers say, which I highly doubt you did, they explain certain things to you.
And really, you shouldnt consider fan voted ones to begin with. If we did Hulk would beat everyone because people like you would vote.

Please tell me just so I know you are using modern current supes vs modern current Hulk. You keep mentioning these feats and if superman went all out but which one? Anyway as I have said these feats don't equal what he can do in a fight against Hulk, the closest reference to a similar matchup would be Doomsday.

Hulk has shown insane feats of physical strength and unless fighting gods or cosmics has not shown any lmits he can't overcome. What has DDay done? The way the Hulk DDay fight would go is Hulk would defeat him through overpowering with strength but DDay will return unable to be killed again leading to stalemate since hulk is stronger but DDay can't die.

@Fierce5 Actually hulk has done much more than that then he fought, he has grabbed matter in one hand and anti matter in the other and punched them breaking one, and he has punched a time storm before, the mountain he lifted was 150 billion tons so not just a normal mountain. @Fierce5 His strength is said to be limitless as with his rage, but this isnt the case when we use fights with him. On many occasions he couldnt overpower Thor, even with leverage. He recently got BRUTALLY beaten by Zeus, who was only using physical force, and he beat him so bad Hulk's regeneration stopped working and he nearly died. Hulk has been beaten many times, when he was going all out. The "he gets madder forever" argument isnt factual. If Superman went all out Hulk would be done.

@Fierce5 Not the book we are talking about Mjolnir, only those worthy can lift it it's not a matter of weight and so far only ones capable of lifting it who were unworthy were a pissed off Hulk and Thor's mother using telekenisis. Being unworthy and able to lift Mjorlnir with physical strength is some feat indead.
Even weak Galactus can still eat Superman or make a new universe. Superman may be able to harm him but it wouldn't be anything serious and Galactus would just crush him.

I just want you to not just disregard Hulk altogether without looking at his potential and his own feats, they may not be as outstanding as Supes but that doesn't make him any less a challenge. Likewise that doesn't mean Supes can't beat him.

The guy has abilities like Torquasm which allows him to defend against reality warping, he used it to beat a being who was able to enslave DC's version of Eternity. Doomsday is Hulk but with Hax powers, and Superman beat him recently. Superman is reaching Pre Crisis levels, hes surpassed him in strength, thats plain ridiculous

@Fierce5 I do agree that Hulk could win some matches as would Superman, at baseline strength Superman is stronger than all versions of Hulk who have just transformed from Banner, after a while Hulk get's pissed and potentially overpowers supes in strength and durability. I think Supes could win between 50%-60% of matches because he is faster and has to take Hulk down ASAP. But if he messes up or Hulk has his guard up long enough he will gradually get stronger and eventually stomp supes.

@TheBoredomOtaku This is false. Superman is not only stronger than baseline Hulk but every level of strength Hulk has ever reached. Hulk could potentially overpower Hulk, but hed have to be able to do it fast or it wouldnt matter. Superman hits hard and hits fast.
Superman doesnt typically have to power up, though he has dynamic strength too. Typically Superman walks up to something and lifts it. Superman saw the book that had infinite weight and held existence and just lifted it.

@Fierce5 Here is an example of an outcome, Hulk uses his Thunderclap, not only can this put Superman off course when flying suddenly but it can cause some serious disorientation. Superman has enhanced hearing, on a much higher level than Wolverine and the clap defeaned and disorented him lethaly, imagine what it could do to Supes with his superiou hearing. During the disorientaion Hulk has a chance to strike and potentially knock out a deafened kryptonian. That's 1 outcome there are many more.

@Fierce5 Superman throwing Hulk into space I highly doubt, yet again this outcome isn't very valid. Hulk could do the same and he is weaker only difference is supes can fly back, superman however hasn't been seen doing this to every Doomsday style baddy simply because he can't. These powerhouses are not only fast but strong and will have their guards up. Supes goes near them and they will retaliate hard.
