  • efren's miss on the 8 was on purpose...

  • Brunswick needs to look at the design of that pocket. Something surely wrong there. The earlier pockets were about a 1/4 inch above table level. By making the top of the pocket level with the rails is seems there is more of a chance for something like this to happen. There is another video of the same table with the ball coming up out of the pocket.

  • @dv713

They have fixed this horrible problem.

  • @joeygonzo Glad to hear it. I saw another video using the same type of table and it happened twice in a row. I have had a Brunswick Gold Crown for many years and it is a good playing table, never had that problem with it.

I have recently decided that I like Diamond tables better. Diamond rails seem to be the truest banking rails I have ever played on. In general the Diamond tables played better than my Brunswick in every way.

  • @dv713

They had the same problem when my local hall bought those cheap plastic buckets. The buckets had thick top rims and the backside had no angles.

I played on a Metro table recently, and the buckets were much better.

Btw, Metro tables were really Dufferin tables but they went out of business.

Brunswick bought the rights to them and have them made in China.

I think the old Gold Crowns and Anniversaries with Monarch cushions were the best banking table ever.

  • Dudes: Challenge accepted!

    Ball: FU, I'm going home!

3rd time: Fuck yeah! Like a bows!

  • 0:31 <- That's what she said.

  • I have to agree there is something wrong with the pocket design if it kicks back like that. Those balls were not even hit that hard and they kicked back out. I have seen some crummy leather pockets do that but that looked like a quality table.

  • We had the same problem 15 years ago in the pool club where I played. The "problem" is the stiff plastic material of the pocket, which allows the falling ball to keep most of its energy when going down the pocket. If the ball goes in with the right angle and has enough energy left, it might eventually come up again

The easy solution: Put some soft fabric sticker at the upper back part of the pocket, so every ball touches it and loses its kinetic energy before going down .. problem solved 100% !

  • the 8 ball said fuck u its dark in there XD

  • Someone put a piece of glass over the pocket.

  • Reyes just gave Thomasz turn back

  • Tomasz deserves the rack anyway.

  • if you look at the 8 ball carefully, it does not go deep into the pocket. It must be the way the slate is cut and the pocket has a natural curve in and out.

I say the slate have a 45 deg cut and when the ball hits the back of the pocket, it gets kicked back to the slate and the slate kicks it back.

  • crazy.

  • Efren should've moved that ball already in the pocket out and put it into another pocket on the table. lol crazy..
