@Saphirawise hey well about hugh...i met him and he is really a nice guy...hes really down to earth he doesnt think hes good or anything and hes really modest :)..
It's really a shame they never released a CD with the music from "Lestat". I'm a huge Drew Sarich fan (saw him numerous times in different musicals in Austria) and now I'm totally in love with Hugh Panaro's voice too...
I love how he sings this song. How nice to tribute this song to his friend! Lestat has beautiful music if you just listen to it without seeing it visually! *sigh* I feel myself turning into a pile of goo listening to him sing! I hope that I can see him again someday. I think he needs to do a cabaret concert in the L.A. area for us L.A. fans! Woo hoo! lol The Gardenia and Cinegrill are two great places in L.A. for cabaret. :)

As a musician, this is the kind of performance I strive for. Everything that Hugh sings he puts so much emotion into and technically he is very near to flawless. I love the unique timbre of his voice. Bravo.
When I first saw Hugh in Les Miserables some 18 years ago, the one thing that stuck with me, aside from how gorgeous his voice was (and how very cute he was), was the sincerity of emotion he brought to the role of Marius. When I "rediscovered" him in 2005, I was thrilled that the same wonderful sincerity was still there.
