  • Хорошая работа! ) +5

  • can adobe audition 2.0 do that? i cant find the noise reduction button..:(

  • @madoxatkins nope, search on youtube to download the newer version for free bro ,so u can do it to ;)

  • What does fft mean? Explain please!

  • Amazing

  • Any idea what might be causing a reverb sound after removing the noise? The file was warm and dry sounding before removing the noise with the noise reduction filter, but after I used the noise reduction filter it sounds cleaner but WAY more hollow like it was recorded in an empty hollow room.

  • will this work with my situation? (i recorded at a concert and it has random, scratchy squeal sounds throughout the whole video)

  • That was helpful! :) Thanks!

  • Thank you for producing this tutorial for everyone amigo pogolink.

  • awesome. thanks. know anything about pop/click reduction 'dynamic' settings?

  • really,really helpful..thankyou very much

  • Noise reduction should be used very sparingly and in cases similar to this video should be avoided altogether. The result you are left with sounds dull and eroded, sure it may not have a hiss sound, but you are also removing valuable sound data.

  • does any1 kno how to record sound with a beat

  • Great tutorial!

  • Dude You saved my lifeeeeee

  • Man.. I adore you

Thank so much for teaching one Thai stupid boy know what recording is.

  • NOISE REDUCTION BAD

  • been dabbeling in sound editing for a while now, but I sometimes get this problem where removing the noise then makes the sound echo for some reason especially on vocals... pretty annoying x.x

  • @shinkosai if you apply too much NR or of the wrong kind, you will get that effect. like a bad mp3.

if it's not physical noise (if it's just hum or hiss from the cable) use balanced gear. here's a ghetto method of creating the s/n ratio of a balanced system, works only for mono channels tho. will get rid of 80% of cable noise pickup. Record only on one channel of your stereo input. Invert the noise channel and sum the two. Done. You will need much less noise reduction this way.

  • let me make myself a lil more clear - you record on both channels but pan the useful signal hard left, so that on the right you only have noise. also make sure that the noise on both channels is at an equal level before you start. using this method on a mono channel, say a mike, will reduce cable induced noise by ~20dB. not exactly on par with a true balanced system but very close.

  • dam! that is not adobe audition thas cool edit pro

  • @TeRzZeUz when adobe bought cool edits from Syntrillium, Adobe re-released cool edits pro 2.1 under the name Adobe Auditon 1

  • tHANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR THE TUTORIAL.

  • great video dude. All this stuff is so easy if you just understand it, but something is getting on my DAM NERVES... The timing of my tracks don't match. I'll play a rhythm guitar track and then create a solo track but the don't match up. WHY? I know when i recorded the solo it was in perfect timing.

  • You simply need more ram

  • nope, i fixed it. It was the "adjust for drift" was disabled. I checked the box and it fixed it.

  • oh wow that makes perfect sense now lol cheers!!!!!!!!!!!

  • hey nice man. Great tutorial indeed!

  • thnaks man!it helped a lot

  • THX... good man..

  • thanks alot. this helped alot, good video

  • thanks... really many thanks it helps a lot

  • thanks

  • this works however when i add dynamics processing, graphic eq, and all that wit noise reduction and i tried several levels but i get bigger background sound like the other sound aside from the guiltar

  • Use a higher reduction level. when i say this i don't mean moving the slider further, i mean increase the db level it reduces by. you have to remember that a dynamics prcessing is looking for sounds that have been masked and is trying to raise them to be more inline with the other elements of the song.

  • default settings in noise reduction are to reduce noise by 20db, if your dynamics device is set to look for settings that are 20db lower and raising them play about with the settings until you find one that works. also play with the compressor, often you can remove hiss by compressing it out.

  • as i say, just play with the settings until you get something you like. and you are best to listen to the results through some good quality headphones as you will hear more of what you are doing are doing.

  • Oh my God. Brilliant! I've been using Cool Edit for years and I never thought to do noise reduction like that! Thank you!

  • thank you, a good job

  • hello my friend, just one more question, does it work with audio files, for example: a mp3 file or mediafile (just audio), will reduce the crappy sound at the background?? please answer me pololink!!regards

  • Yes, it Works to any Video or Audio Compatible with Adobe Audition, The Example uses an audio from a video but its exactly the same to a mp3... just find the noise source and follow all the steps :P

  • Thank you for that information, this is amazing!!!! :)

  • Great info, thanks.

  • omg.. ur save my ass

  • very nice tutorial, ive been using it wrong. I love the internet lol
