If people ask me 'Who is your favorite producer?' I always say 'J Dilla definitely. He is the best!' ...and I don't say that because he passed away. I say that, because Jay Dee was the best producer. if you listen to the original samples and what he made of them, the way he flipped them, that whole soul and very special sound he brought to the music...was just amazing.
