1.-Z played pretty bad. He made the same mistake twice. He that second racks was delayed. He must have known that he was going to feint and then expand. Playing it safe, put up a spine.

From someone that has interest in SC2 purely as a spectator, I think the game right now is super super balanced. I don't play the game, so I have no racial bias. I mostly watch pro matches, and I've watched every pro tournament this year. The game balance right now is so knife edged it's ridiculous. If you're not top 10 grandmasters, any small imbalance isn't going to effect you at all. It's you, not the game.

Note: terran has had the highest win rates vs zerg and protoss since the beta and release. Its only by a few percentages but when we look at it in terms of the amount of players playing world wide... If more people played Zerg, their W/L ratio would increase substantially. Also Terran without Stim= 15-20% reduction on their winning statistics.

If you have more players playing a certain class, you're more likely to have a higher W/L ratio for the class due to the increased number of players. If those 5 Zergs were pro, out of those 100 Terrans you might have 25 Pro players, which would substantially change the W/L ratio. More players =higher chance to have an increased W/L. .

And second of all it has nothing to do with the number of players, but with the number of games played. W/L ratio is calculated as number of won matches out of total played. If there are 240 played tvz matches and terran wins 150 that means: 150*100/240=62.5% wins which results in 100-62.5=37.5 loss. From the zerg perspective it is exactly the oposite:62.5loss, 37.5 win

If starcraft had 90% masters going terran and 10% going zerg, that would be a huge problem, either how hard that race is to play, or how bad it is against other races of the same level. Risk vs reward, you don't want a race a lot harder to play, but balances out with a race easier to play of the same level.

Read the article about MC on the TL site. Worlds best (Korean) players are 80% Terran, 20% Zerg and 0% Protoss right now. Even tho MC has been said to be worlds best player, he's demoted to Code A. It's obvious by these facts that at HIGH level of play, Protoss is way too way and Terran is little too strong. At like mid-diamond to bronze tho the game's balance is fine.

Also, I love how if the zerg makes a single mistake, he pays for it by being put WAAAAAAAAAAAY behind. A few too many early lings? GG. Lost an engagement? GG. Misread the opponents opener? GG.

Terran can make mistakes all game long and still come back because they have mules and the most powerful and versatile unit in the game, costing 50 minerals and is massable. They just fall back, mule up and siege a few tanks with marines and you'll break yourself trying to break his defenses.
