Having lived from/through 60's to present day...the 80's for Miss Ross was EXPLOSIVE! Her Central Park stamina was that of a warrior...and that she is!
God's Will in effect she will perform in the near future and I will be blessed to be at that performance.
With the recent passing of Mr. Nick Ashford, it is my prayer that she does perform next year as a tribute to him and Mrs. Ashford.
If you do not have "The Boss" album of '79...do your best to acquire it.
Aint NO BODY better. I saw her last year and seeing her again in sept. She has NEVER let me down! She has sustained and entertained me my whole life. Thank You Diana
Great concert footage! I was lucky to see Diana perform in Toronto Canada in May 2010 and her show was flawless. Her hitting the road so hard and for so long brings to mind a scene in Lady Sings The Blues when Diana as Billie Holiday goes out on the road to get positive reviews in order to play Carnege Hall. Except this time 'round it may be to prove she is worthy of a recording contract. Hope the big labels are not asleep at the wheel!
I WANTED TO RUN UP ON THE STAGE!!!
