I have to agree, the Challenger is a real car arguably the Nicest looking out of the 3 cars (Mustang Camaro being the other 2), the Charger is in the same class as the Pontiac G8 GT, Cadilac CTS, Ford Torus SHO they are Heavy 4 door but powerfull Family Cars. A freiend of mine had a SRT8 Charger then traded in on a SRT8 Challenger was tired of driving 4200 lb boats and traded on a 2011 GT500

He finally got into the 12's after he installed a techco supercharger. The car weighs 4275 lbs. And they have the same convertors that the 5.7 charger have and the same cv axles (weak). And he paid 45k for it plus 9k for the blower.
well i went to the drag with my buddy and he runs a 13.4 in his SRT8, my r/t runs about 14.1 which i dont really mind, because it weighs about 4200 lbs...your freind is an idiot for spending 45k plus another 9k for the tech co super, when he could of went with a kenny belle and make roughly 700hp with the same money. plus a good low milage srt8 goes for about 35k, douche

the R/T's are very disappointing... Untill you really get into moding a R/T my 2000 GT has beaten more than one on the strip no problem. I take them on the line and I have plenty of power to keep that gap alllll the way down.
the spoiler on the charger makes it look like a ricer in my opinion unless he actually uses it on a track i think they are pointless to stick up that far on an American car. especially on a drag track by the time he gets to the speed that makes those effective, with only 324 ponies to the rear wheels it wont break loose even before the spoiler stars doing anything. just my experience and my opinion

Well, Justin and I are friends and we were racing at a Test and tune, just having fun. so don't get so bent out of shape. Back then my car ran 13.10 in the 1/4 mile with limited bolt-ons. The chargers with simular mods and tune will do 13.3 in the 1/4. My car today runs 12.29 @ 110 with full bolt-ons. Weight is not your friend when racing and the charger is not a race car it's a cruiser thats it.
Also, look at the 2010 Mustang it is running 13.4 stock to a 425hp Camaro 13.1 stock. and it cost 5K less. The S197 Mustang has only had 1 recall in 5 years and is rated with a 5 star safety and Reliability rating. Todays Ford is not like it used to be. I have to admit that this is my first Ford, I have always owned GM and Dodge. I still have my Chrysler 300M and 2K silverado Z-71 Both great vehicles.

the 2011 Mustang will have a new Modular Motor called Coyote. it's a 400hp 400tq aluminum 5.0L 4 valve DOHC and it will still weight around 3600 lbs that will make the mustang a high 12 second daily driver in 2011. I will have one of these too

He finally got into the 12's after he installed a techco supercharger. The car weighs 4275 lbs. And they have the same convertors that the 5.7 charger have and the same cv axles (weak). And he paid 45k for it plus 9k for the blower.

well i went to the drag with my buddy and he runs a 13.4 in his SRT8, my r/t runs about 14.1 which i dont really mind, because it weighs about 4200 lbs...your freind is an idiot for spending 45k plus another 9k for the tech co super, when he could of went with a kenny belle and make roughly 700hp with the same money. plus a good low milage srt8 goes for about 35k, douche

the R/T's are very disappointing... Untill you really get into moding a R/T my 2000 GT has beaten more than one on the strip no problem. I take them on the line and I have plenty of power to keep that gap alllll the way down.

the spoiler on the charger makes it look like a ricer in my opinion unless he actually uses it on a track i think they are pointless to stick up that far on an American car. especially on a drag track by the time he gets to the speed that makes those effective, with only 324 ponies to the rear wheels it wont break loose even before the spoiler stars doing anything. just my experience and my opinion

The Mustang was faster off the line either because it took off too soon, or the driver of the Charger fucked up. From my experience's racing all kinds of Mustangs with my Charger (stock) they couldn't keep up.

Well, Justin and I are friends and we were racing at a Test and tune, just having fun. so don't get so bent out of shape. Back then my car ran 13.10 in the 1/4 mile with limited bolt-ons. The chargers with simular mods and tune will do 13.3 in the 1/4. My car today runs 12.29 @ 110 with full bolt-ons. Weight is not your friend when racing and the charger is not a race car it's a cruiser thats it.

Also, look at the 2010 Mustang it is running 13.4 stock to a 425hp Camaro 13.1 stock. and it cost 5K less. The S197 Mustang has only had 1 recall in 5 years and is rated with a 5 star safety and Reliability rating. Todays Ford is not like it used to be. I have to admit that this is my first Ford, I have always owned GM and Dodge. I still have my Chrysler 300M and 2K silverado Z-71 Both great vehicles.

Look at the Ford Fusion, it beat out Toyota Camery and Honda Accord in Value, Reliability and Customer satifaction 2 years running. Ford turned around in early 2002 and thats why they are doing well today and building better cars and trucks.
the 2011 Mustang will have a new Modular Motor called Coyote. it's a 400hp 400tq aluminum 5.0L 4 valve DOHC and it will still weight around 3600 lbs that will make the mustang a high 12 second daily driver in 2011. I will have one of these too

Example the V6 Grand National GNX, the GMC typhoon and syclone just to name a few. Since the sixties Ford hasnt perfomed the way GM or Chrysler has and does.Like the super bee and the plymoth dayton on the mopar end then the ruler of the late 60s and early 70s the chevelle 454SS the shelbys of the day fell short. Anyway, my STOCK '04 SVT Cobra beat the hell out of the SRT8, which I though would be neck and neck being the SRT8 is a heavier but has more HP. Ford for some time has been a leader in affordable performance.

Mustang was tested against the Camaro and the Challenger. All results were the same with the Mustang coming in last with everything.... especially driver comfort and leg room, and getting in and out of the vehicles. The Mustang continues to be horribly cramped and is NOT ideal for drivers 6 feet tall.

The Charger is obviously heavier than the Shitstang in this video. I have seen many, many Shitstangs get smoked by Mopar. I don't know what happened in this video though. I will never own a Ford.

The guy driving the charger is obviously a shitty driver. Cuz not all the time its the car's performance, the driver can also have a major impact whether or not he wins the race or not. The driver in the rustang was just a better driver. But Dodge still walks all over ford any day! LOL
