  • Fine 70 or nothing

  • Fuck u then

  • Il beat u that Microsoft hard drive will last longer dummass stupid

  • @0983562 I think most people would agree that Western Digital makes better drives than the Hitachi drives that MS uses, I'm not here to argue, though.

  • Damm 90 dollars fuck u Cheap ass nigga go to hell

  • @0983562 It's more than $120 from Microsoft. I wasn't aware that a discount of more than 25% was this offensive.

  • ok how much

  • hey I need one how much

  • @0983562 A link to my store is in the video description.

  • @0983562 A link to my store is in the video description, it has prices listed there.

  • i happened to find the same case online on ebay and yea i hate how it doesn't snap shut... used masking tape to close it (1 piece on each side) it looks ugly as hell but eh it works

  • "It tops your pop off." hahaha

  • i am considering purchasing one of these but i have 1 question- Is it backwards compatible? i know its flashed, but can it play original xbox games? Please reply

  • @1mranonymous1 Yes, it's backwards compatible

  • @robinsontoor thanks.

  • @robinsontoor BTW, can this possibly void the Xbox 360 warranty?

  • @1mranonymous1 No, you have to open your xbox to void its warranty, this would only void your hard drive's warranty.

  • @robinsontoor by that do you mean if you open a microsoft-brand HDD or the actual internal HDD. BTW, again, thanks for all the info

  • @1mranonymous1 If you open your old hard drive case like this video shows then you've voided the warranty for that drive.

  • @robinsontoor thanks, ill probably order fom cfadventure on ebay

  • @1mranonymous1 cfventure*

  • can u get ban by using an old hardrive on a new xbox ?

  • @Mrcarter259 No

  • I just wanted to say thank you very much this has helped me out alot Thnxs and keep up the good work :)

  • is there a way to get a bigger hard drive (like 500GB+) inside a 360 slim hard drive casing?

  • @stopwhining1 You could put it in the case but it wouldn't work. You can't have a drive any bigger than what MS has released.

  • I want to take my hard drive out from the hard drive case that came with the Xbox 360 S and put a 7200 rpm hard drive in and put my original xbox hard drive into the old xbox 360. but how do i open the xbox 360 slim hard drive case? :s

  • @HaloHamstur If it came from Microsoft I don't think you can re-close it. I haven't personally handled an actual MS drive but it has to be in two pieces so find the seam and break it open.

  • @21cwsuper6 Theres a seam i just dont know if its bonded or glued.

  • @HaloHamstur I'm sure they use some sort of crazy adhesive. Odds are good you'll break the case taking it off and I'm not sure it'll snap back together. If it does the case I sell them for less than $10.

  • why do you need that tape for

  • @OddJungle This was the old style case, you don't need tape now because the case holds itself together.

  • thanks loads

  • hey good vid. just wanted to know if there is any chance that the adhesive on the board itself can create any problems with the hdd, even if it be later on.

  • @tbas3y24 The cases I have now don't require adhesive, they just snap together

  • Although I will probably buy one of your cases, is it ok to just put the HD in the slot with out the case; like many youtube tutorials show?

  • @B0vril Yes, that works it just leaves a lot of free space around the drive. Whether or not you get a case is just personal preference.

  • Ok.... I havn't read all the comments but I just had an idea involving a possible WallyWorld return with this as a decoy : )

So here's my question, have you compared you enclosure case to that of a retailed HDD case? Is there anything that would ruin this idea? perhaps serial numbers that on case and packaging that would make this impossible?

  • @mlm2588 The new cases I have are snap-togethers with no adhesive needed so that would be a dead giveaway but you could tell with the tape ones, too.

The risk isn't worth the reward. If you're caught they don't just give you the item back, you're arrested for committing fraud.

  • @cfventure damn... its a good thing I asked before I did it... so your saying it would be a direct giveaway... often times they dont examine the product when you return something but electronics are different lately... I never thought of the fraud thing lol

  • @mlm2588 If you had the real thing next to it you could tell the difference. It's really not worth the risk, though.

  • @cfventure yea probably not going to try this then... explain then how I WONT get banned from xbox live with this? i know its flashed and i've done the homework, but no where have i read that its undetectable... my concern is the internal keys iv read about what if its duplicated and xbox live picks up on it?

  • @mlm2588 It's not necessarily undetectable but MS has announced no plans to ban them and no one has ever been banned. I have over 800 ebay feedback with no negatives to attest to this

  • @cfventure than last and final question... I know there is a partition in the original drives that provide the ability for backwards compatibility... do your HDDs have this partition?

  • @mlm2588 Yes

  • @cfventure I spoke with a Microsoft friend & he actually told me that they are an evil corporation! I was planning on upgrading until he told me that they ARE preparing to ban everyone that do not have an actual Microsoft hard drive. Why the wait? Because they are evil geniuses & know people love their Xbox live so if they wait for more people to "upgrade", thats even MORE people to ban that will eventually have to buy another Xbox! Good luck with your "800 ebay feedback with no negatives"!! LOL

  • @JohnSmith1985x That's terrible; that guy from phone support hasn't even met me. I'm not a corporation, however, so even if I were evil (and I don't think I am, but I'm not exactly impartial on that) that statement is incorrect. I do find it odd that Microsoft would be announcing this sort of plan to a random guy in a call center first.

The reason I don't think they'll ever ban people is because the Chinese sell flashed drives without telling people so MS would ban lots of innocent people.

  • @robinsontoor I don't think you understood, my buddy who works for Microsoft told me MICROSOFT is the evil corporation that HE works for and yes they will end up banning eventually!! As for the Chinese, Microsoft doesn't care!! You're probably one of those people that think the red ring of death, slow advances to bring out bigger hard drives and introducing the new slim Xbox was all just an accident!! Wake up, it's all about $MONEY$

And by the way, what phone support guy are you talking about?!

  • @JohnSmith1985x Red ring of death wasnt for money that gives them bad rep not to mention if it was under warrenty a loss of money.

  • im not gonna do this....im just gonna buy 250g one + its better :)

  • You can buy the same casevon eBay for 7 bucks

  • @TheFlypaki The cheapest US seller charges $17.90 after shipping. I don't even think the chinese sellers are doing them for $7 but if you find one for 7 bucks then go for it. I make most of my money of whole drives, selling cases is more of a public service so people don't have to wait 3 weeks to get them from China.

  • Hey thanks for the info...you just saved me $130 for a brand new 250gb hard drive just $19 (purchased from you) for a case and I can swap it out myself!!

  • What inch the normal hard drive is on xbox 360 slim? Is it 2,5 inch SATA, which is on PS3?

  • @DamasMOS Yes, 2.5"

  • how much will one of these cases cost

  • @haloboy22305 $17.50 at the link in the description

  • You will not have this kind of problem if you get ps3..... LOL

    Xbox 360 rocks, ms sucks

  • will it work if I bought a case from the website and put an old hdd in there hen used superglue will it work?

  • @islamluver1 Yeah, just don't get superglue anywhere you shouldn't, like the electrical contacts.

  • Hey, I just got my case in the mail. I have a old 20gb 360... from the very first 360s that launch. (I bought it the day the 360 launched). I have a LOT of save games that I need on the hard drive. Can I just pop my old 20gb hard drive (removed case of course) into this and stick it into the new slim? Or do I need to do a transfer with the transfer cable just to be safe? I don't want the system reformatting, or deleting the stuff on the hard drive at all. If I lose the save games i'll be upset.

  • @zamardii12 Basically, i'm looking for the safest way to migrate over to the slim. Thanks for the case!

  • @zamardii12 You can just stick your old drive in one of these cases and it'll work just fine.

  • @amj441 Go to the site in the description and look at the page called "Cases, raw drives, and tools"

  • Can you do this and still be able to play xbox live without getting banned? I've been hearing a lot about being able to get banned for this, is this true? Have you had any problems on xbox live?

  • @xTaeGukGi Yes. No one has ever banned for this in 500+ sales.

  • is it safe if i use like not too thick masking tape on the outside of the slim case to keep it close and put that back in my xbox?

  • @zxcc5 Yeah, it wouldn't look very good but it should work.

  • So on the website you sell pre-flashed drives in the slim case, and I could just put it in my xbox without having to worry about anything?

  • @Longshot182 Correct

  • i wanna buy a harddrive from you for the slim, but i really dont wanna get banned.

I read that I wont get banned because its flashed or something but i'm still not sure. can you tell me exactly why I wont get banned? and is it possible at all that microsoft will like send out some update thing that can tell if its a harddrive made by them or not even if it is flashed?

  • @gmoney101392 It's my understanding that some official drives and duplicate sector serials so if they banned this method they would also ban legitimate drives.

  • will the 120gb one work in the slim xbox

  • @littleleo2 Yes. Any hard drive that works with the old-style 360 will, when placed in a slim case, work on a slim system.

  • i brought a 4gb slim i dont wanna spend no more money on a tranfer cable so can i open my old 20gb and put into my slim case and will i still be able to get on xbox live or will i get banned where do i get the cases or can i just take apart the 4gb case let me know

  • @brotherboben Correct, you won't get banned. The link to buy the case is in the description.
