  • its look like y dont move your right hand lol :)

  • I've owned about 6 Boogies! Built well but to nasal andmuddy, their just not a Marshall. Great Job, I have the same Amp, Switch Tubes to all jj's. Marshall all the way.

  • Not bad. James would be proud. :D your guitar matches the song too. Wish I could afford a real Gibson. Only one I could do is the 800 dollar faded V, Les Paul, or Explorer.

  • yeah when i play this my forearm goes up in flames.

  • Its was awsome man!

  • I can't lift my jaw back up!!!

  • dude siiiiick tone. i have the jvm 410 and it puts out a good noise. i love how raw it sounds, i mean the mic on the camera sucks but as far as i can tell great job

  • hey man can you tell me exactly what color is that guitar?is that a light sunburst?

  • sick!!!!!! 5/5

  • I have this amp too. Could you share your settings?

  • Hey dude, it was a long time ago but as far as I can remember it was the Lead channel, Treble and Bass turned up to 10 with the middle at zero. The Shift button pressed in, the Deep button also pressed in. The Presence turned to about 8 or 9 and the tiniest bit of Reverb.

Give that a go man and let me know how it sounds for you.

  • @Arockalypse Thanks heaps man, it sounds like the fart of Jesus. I love the tone. Thanks heaps

  • Hell yah Man!!! Killer Tone, Killer Playing. Killer Amp

  • Awesome Man!!!! YOU ROCK!

  • I've been practicing this song for last couple days without an amp, but i get one tommorw on christmas, I only know the intro, hopefully learn the whole song. =)

  • @mylastproduction the song is tough. the middle and last solo is kinda hard to learn at first but if u take it part by part u can get it

  • Since I got my amp I've learned like 2/3 of the solo which wasn't entirly hard just took just getting down. I've just got to focus on timing a lil more.

  • @mylastproduction ya timeing is manly what u want and some speed

  • sounds fucking nice!

  • Great job, and great tone. Reminds me of 'tallica's live tone from the mid-80's. Yes, I'm old enough to have seen them live in the 80's.....

    Nothing like a Marshall/LP tone.....

  • Nice man! What kind of pick ups are in LP?

  • @Hrledood911 they are humbuckers that come standard on LPs

  • They sound awesome!!! I have bustbuker pro in my LP Standard. They sound good but for some reason any humbucker in a LP really make the guitar sound really hot!

  • that;s cause the wood is hot as hell!!

  • hey, I have TSL602 as well, and I've been having a lot of problems with it lately. I need to get this exact distortion, but can't for the life of me get the amp to cooperate. Would you please list your amp settings? I would really appreciate it.

  • What guitar specs do you use with it?

  • @cty777 - You think I'm playing it too fast? Strange, because I'm actually playing along to Metallica in the background. So the timing is perfect. Have another listen to the original.

  • if you think this is fast, listen to trivium version.

  • @fallingspears77

trivium is gay. faster isnt always beter

  • I know. i saw a live video, and I was like, this is soo fast that its painful to hear

  • ive heard way faster... and right from the source too!

  • that's crazy!

  • @judoman25 true that

  • i personally think a vox amp is better than a Marshall i tried vox sounds better i find sweet guitar tho

  • kirk plays the opening diffrent

  • you just recreated my dream lol.

    A gibson les paul

    A Marshall amp

    Playing Metallica

    how cool is that :P

  • get a mesa boogie and you will shit your pants

  • i know mesa's too, they sound really brutal but marshall's got a more trebly crunchy hard rock sound, its more my thing. Maybe a Vox wth some compressors will be nice too

  • true

  • @IvanDynamoTop not much of a dreamer ehhh?

  • wow i cant believe he recorded it on a phone........mustve cost a pretty penny KEEP IT UP DUDE !!!

  • what cost a pretty penny?

  • Awesome guitar and great cover. I haven't lead the whole song nor have I perfected the verse riff. Guitar is similar to mine as far as color but the pick ups are different but sound really good!

  • sad, sad people....arguing on youtube

  • Ok, so what happened to the "lead" riffs that make this song so awesome? Hmm...seen a 20 yrl old in a previous vid, cleanly play them.

  • Look, I dig the guitar and you got mad chops. but I don't really like the look of Standard's for heavy metal. Does anyone agree with me? I think the Studio would be better. That's just one man's opinion though. Keep on rocking Dude because you are good man. Peace :D

  • WTF ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!? the LOOK?! it's not about looks it's about tone and what you can play...retard...

  • Whoa man. Chill out. I was just stating my opinion. So, you would think it would look cool to play a hello kitty strat while rocking some Metallica. SO chill the fuck out. I'm just stating my opinion. It's amazing how many people are so fuckin rude in the world.

  • If someone wnated to rock out with a hello guitar let em!...what do looks have to do with anything?...I'm not being "rude" you're just taking it up the butt

It's amazing how many people in this world are too sensitive.

I know it's your opinion but looks don't matter...it's about sound.

  • OH AND BTW! Metallica has used vintage Les Pauls...you clearly have no idea what you're talking about

  • You are an ass hole, ya know that. Metallica rarely uses vintage LP's though I have seen Hammett use a '59. That aside, I'm just going to put this argument to rest. You probably sit at home each day, listening to the Jonas Brothers (Hence Your Name), and masturbate to gay porn. So FUCK YOU. I bet you don't have many friends because you are just an ass hole to people.

  • PFFT. I have plenty of friends who I talk shit to kiddin around...they don't take shit up the ass like you seem to be taking it...fact is they still use the LPs...again I say it's about sound not looks...least we both agree Jonas brothers suck...I hate it I have the same name.......I could live with people teasin with the lame "my name is jonas" song by weezer but I'm probably going to have to shoot myself pretty soon if people keep making references to the Jonas brothers...

  • I say we put our differences aside and both agree that the Jonas Brothers can both suck us off. :D

  • Peace in this world is worth nearly any price!!! yeah!!! \m/

  • AMEN!

  • hallelujah!

  • james in studio is using only a gibson les paul custom 1957 (with an iron cross). Hammet's LP is not a 59, is new custom with EMGs and black hardware

  • Really? So they use Customs. Thanks! :D

  • erm inst james guitar an esp custom?

on the esp site its an custam eclipse

  • james has 100000000 guitars, yes one of them is an esp custom because esp is a metallica sponsor. james ,from the first albums, in studio uses the gibson les paul custom 57'

  • 'gibson les paul custom 57' since when has james used a 57' LP? isnt is a 73'

  • its a gibson les paul custom 1957 model and yes made in 1973 but the model is the custom 1957 ;)

  • its only for promotion, although esp making excellent guitars

  • yeah tell me about it

  • classic slash guitar

  • thats the les paul i wanted you lucky basterd!

love the cover should have done the whole song

  • which pickups are you using?

    seymour duncan?

  • No dude, just the stock pick-ups!

  • is this playable as well with a Les Paul classic custom?

  • why not?

  • don't know, need much information about it xD

  • unless you have crashed your pickups/strings/body/fingers it's playable^^

  • lol... I'm thinking of the sound^^

  • ah ok xD

with a good amp you'll sure get the right gain-sound

  • i rarely hear i a tone i like on youtube great job :D

  • great amp. ive got one to. keep up the good playing!

  • It's a JCM 2000, right?

  • Nice chops dude. I just bought one of these amps. Any set up advice?

  • great setup. sounds amazing.

  • Amazing sound.

  • thanks dude...

  • why stalk people.

  • sounded awesome, and nice guitar

  • what model les paul is that?? looks like a slash vos??

  • It actually does look like the VOS, without the cigarette burns, but its only a Les Paul Classic. The VOS is a bit out of my price range I'm afraid. This guitar is the same colour and has the same plain top finish so they look very alike.

  • Is TSL loud enough to lead in a band with strong drummer? Club performances? What would u say Arockalypse?

  • Definately blitz! The guy I bought it off solt it because it was too loud for him. I've never gigged it but I've seen him gig with it in Clubs and its well loud enough.

  • Thanks for Your Answer :) By the way, great playing. Good Luck

  • This is a very loud amp when cranked. You can easily feel the air moving when standing in front of it and I've never actually opened everything up. One of the guys I jam with has an Orange 50w something or other and the sound we achieve is damn good together. More than enough for most gigs unless you are doing a stadium or something.

  • They mic the cabs in the stadium ;)

  • I just bought one of these amps and love the over all sound but the over all volume I am wondering about? I have the Master Volume at 12oclock and the Crunch Channel Volume at 12oclock and the Crunch Gain at 3/4's and it should be ripping my head off? Am I setting it up wrong or is there another way to set it?

  • Honestly its a marshall tone but it doesnt hit the MOP crunch. It needs more tightness. Maybe a tube screamer would help but marshall's are known for hi gain sustain where as mesa's tend to have a tighter distortion with more bass. personally I lean toward marshall's for fast riffs for a groove feel, but mesa's can chug..

  • I agree 100% about the Mesa, the only thing I'll say in my defence about the tone on this clip is that it does sound a lot different coming out of the Amp. The microphone on my Nokia doesn't really do it justice!

  • excellent job... that tone is definitly dead on

  • hah, not it's not

    play a Mesa/Boogie Mark IIC+.

  • ok so maybe its 1/1000000000 off..... -_- wise ass

  • What settings you using on the 602?

  • I played this amp today...think I may be selling my 5150 combo! Very little noise and the distortion is aggresive yet precise, every note comes through even with the gain cranked up! Post some more demo videos!

  • Awsome job! The tone is just about dead on. Id love to hear ya crack into the solo.

  • @suncollapse: Don't have the TSL602 long enough to be an authority on it (About a week and a half only) but so far I'm delighted with it. Nice reverb, not that I use reverb much. The clean is not the cleanest you'll ever hear, buy a good Fender for excellent Cleans. Pick-ups are stock pick-ups, (496R Neck) /500T (Bridge). I love the pick-ups actually, was going to replace them when I bought the guitar but no need. And as for lower volumes... Who wants to play a Marshall at low volumes???

  • how does the marshall sound at lower volumes? how about the clean and reverb? nice LP, what are the pickups? yeah i know too many questions.
