The cabinet looks nice. Shittiest music ever, though. Seriously, why do people listen to this. They probably just want to be "different" from the crowd...sigh...
nice cabinet. umm......... that music.......... if you listen to that daily I see a boyfriend in your life not a girlfriend. Also a future in fast food service.
@jimm66 The music is amazing, and I can promise you he could get a much better girl than you could, If all your girlfriends judge people on their taste in music alone.
This comment is so ridiculously ignorant, and not only that, It's also really fucking insulting, to him, and the artists who pour their life into this art.
I quite like the beat up look, sounds pretty good to me. Dude can I ask a question, is there any way I can connect a marshall 1912 cab to a stereo Line 6 Spider IV 150 head. Line 6 say both 75W outputs need to be connected to 8ohm loads. Is there any way I can modify the Marshall to make it work with the Spider IV head? Thanks
@Hertsman50 when it says both need to be connected to 8ohm loads, it just means the speakers they are connected to need to be 8ohm speakers. you should be able to just connect one output to the cabinet because the outputs are for the left and right channels, where as your cabinet only has one channel. but if you wish to connect both channels you will need to buy a stereo to mono converter, there are many different types so you will have to do a little research to figure out what will work
@ThisRandomBoy Anyone who can't get a half decent sound from a Line 6 amp is either a crap guitarist or completely retarded....HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA. You are living proof that anal pregnancy is possible....damn fag....HA HA HA HA HA HA HA.
@Hertsman50 why don't you buy a real amp and actually begin to learn the differences in tones. you will find that, that shitty amp cannot call its self "half decent"
@ThisRandomBoy I've already got a valve amp and it's a fucking pain in the ass and weighs a ton. I get more variety of sounds through my line 6 without having to carry around a rack of effects pedals. I get more people coming up to me at the end of a gig asking about my Line 6 amp than I do with my valve amp. You are just bowing to peer pressure. I too thought valve was the only way to go until I checked out Line 6. Keep an open mind. Lots of amazing artists playing through Line 6 equipment.
@Hertsman50 You get a variety of fairly naff sounds. And if you prefer your line6 over your tube amp, get a new tube amp. There really is nothing better than when the tubes are just right and the breakup is happening and it's all nice and sweet.
As for the grill.Just call around to a local steel vender and ask for a pc of expanded or extruded metal .They will usually cut it to size.OR a sheet metal shop will do the same.Godd work BTW.
haha yeah i was thinking about doing that, im not sure where i could get a grill that would fit this it would definitly have to be custom made and im also working on getting a good amp to use. the only difficult part of this is having a low budget haha
lol thanks, yeah i need to replace the speakers these were pulled out of an old record player stereo console from the early 60's im surprised they even work, but im on a tight budget and thats the best i can do for now, im hoping to get some celestions sometime in the future
Dude,Im not going to argue w/u over magnet size lol.....Me and my fellow musician friends would gladly agree we all get more bottom end out of a bigger mag,but each too his own,no Im not a tech,but I have good ears:}

So a ND needs to be just as big as a ferrit?
No, there is more to it then just the size of the magnet...
But you are the tech, right...?

: )
i love bass in my music

@DecibellSweden more excursion, more bass
1500Tb in reply to DecibellSweden (Show the comment) 1 year ago
@1500Tb Not true... More excursion more uncontrolled bass, see PA speakers, they dont need no 1-3" xmax..
DecibellSweden in reply to 1500Tb (Show the comment) 1 year ago
@DecibellSweden yeah but dont you need that much xmax because of so much excursion?
and by the way, what do you mean uncontrolled bass?
1500Tb in reply to DecibellSweden (Show the comment) 1 year ago
@1500Tb Uncontrolled.. If the amd gets forced to low in the ohmage rating. The speaker wont be as controlled as with an higher ohm.
Its almost like a short, there is to much power being forced around and nowhere to go..
