easiest way is to park at the rest area on top of Vail Pass and hike while trying to avoid the countless rednecks and their snowmobiles because they are mostly horrible drivers who don't ski. go straight up the seasonal road and keep going. to the left is some really sweet stuff, but it takes a long time to get back to the cars, to the right (looker's right as you're heading up) it's like what the video shows, but go further up than they did and it's steeper with better drops.
Ya vary board with your lines......... made me feel like I was 8 years old again.....zzzzzzzzzzzz oh ya....8 years old is when I hit all your lines you just put up on vid......JH
Most resorts don't have a whole lot of powder, they cater to the people who like groomers, plus a busy resort will be tracked out in a matter of hours.
I would say Dave needs a little instruction too, and keep the snow machines off Vail Pass unless the riders have avy knowledge, most of them just know how to make noise and start slides on top of skiers. That snow is deep, ski faster...nice video
Wow what a great snow day. Vail pass is a lot better with a snowmachine for access. RJ needs a ski lesson. You all need hucking instruction. Keep at it.
You need a friend with a snowmobile. Takes about fifteen minutes to get to the sick stuff being towed.
