  • I love this sooooo much.

  • can someone tell me what chord that is at 3:07? thanks so much

  • @hassledguy It's a dominant 9th, with added 13th. At that point, he's on the IV chord of a G blues, which is C7: you add the A note (B string, 10th fret), and the D note (high E string, 10th fret)

  • From the very first note I have sought to get as much Snooks in my fingers, mind and soul as possible. As good as they come.

  • R.I.P. Snooks Eaglin from Horni Slavkov, Czech Republic

  • sorry to learn of snooks so late . . .

  • This man had a voice that could melt steel.

What a SOUND! This was time when musicians really played from the heart without relying on studio gimmicks or rap lyrics..

  • Anybody can put the lyrics on the page? I m looking for it!! Thanks very much, sorry for my bad english, I m from Argentina and I speak spanish :)

  • Virtuoso!!!

  • those fingers can talk!

  • Ok....look...I am NOT a guitar player....those guitars you see in my basement...I...um...I'm just holding them for a friend...yeah...THAT'S it!! I'm holding them for a friend.

Because clearly THIS guy is a musician...whereas I am little more than a wannabe.

  • Sing it Snooks... Sweet! Love love love that jamming blues.. :) Thanks for a feel-good video :)

  • I was lucky, lucky, lucky to see Snooks and George on many nights back in the '80's and early 90's. Many a fine guitar player left a Snooks show shaking his head in amazement. "Unique" is an overworked word, but there was simply no one else like him.

RIP Snooks, and thanks for all those nights.

  • You can see George is having so much fun.

  • Buenísimo.

  • Please come back little Ray.....

  • Kenneth Blevins on drums. RIP Snooks, my fav R & B player/singer and one of the great undersung musicians. I don't know of any musician who could make a room feel better, from grandmas to youngsters and everyone in between. He is sorely missed.

  • Is that a young Kenny Aronoff on drums? When is this from?

  • Amazing. A great channelling another legend, T-Bone Walker in this case, but at the same time making it all his own thing.

Snooks' right hand time/tone/touch, not to mention voice, is just incomparable. Totally unique, and will be missed...

  • Absolutly stunning . Fabulous . Gigantic . Great ...

  • RIP master

  • I hear a lot of people in his guitar. He was just great!

  • surely you could have chosen less offensive language to make your point

  • RIP.

  • RIP

  • Love this guy,not many people no about him. Some times he sounds like srv,or maby its the other way around.

  • maybe??

  • Very nice !

  • snooks is the greatest I had a chance to sit and talk to him in 2003 he really is a very nice guy and an awesome guitarist/singer...He also signed a cd of his for me with the help of his wife... for being blind he plays guitar and sings better than ANYONE

  • Verry nice song/solo-performance. Also interesting right hand techniq.

  • Brilliant!!!

  • just flows out of snooks so effortless...dang. tasty chords and greeat telecaster sound. quality player!

  • anybody know what year this is?

  • I think thats Floyd Szaizon on drums !?

  • Snooks is definitely in a class by himself as a guitarist, no doubt. thanks for posting this
