depends on your definition of a black audience, all people will laugh at random jokes in real life that must have happened to everybody but didnt catch much attention at the times they happened, if that is the case then quite a lot of comedians that tell clean jokes will do

and if you mean classic black jokes like curses, drugs, sex, crimes and such, then i think George carlin will do fairly well also, too bad he died last year

Most white comedians (when it comes to performing in front of an all black crowd) tend to get all awkward and most of the time try to compensate by acting too black and its embarrasing....Bill Burr can tell jokes about the KKK and still be funny and yes George Carlin was immensly respected as a comedian cause he was intelligent.

No bc it's not totally untrue. There is some truth to the whole "black comedy/black audience" thing. Anyone who has watched BET or been to the Appollo knows what I mean. Objectively, that there is some truth to most stereotypes--white trash, ghetto blacks, flaming gays, whites have no rhythm, etc. It's simply that while such things exist, they don'tt define the whole group. Most blacks, like anyone else will laugh at a joke if it's funny.
