thats a question i've wondered as well .perhaps a Yamaha 2000 ? I've seen two alike that MB plays here on youtube and one is heavily worn.
Moreso for me is what guitar Glen is playing on the " Good To See You Again " 1973 BDB tour . Mahogany body-set-neck with gold top and it's a hardtail . Appears to be a Gretsch duo-tone/sonic with the volume knob on the lower cutaway . 2 years of off/on research and no joy .
@RKtelecastre Nah...I can't remember the brand but these were Michael Bruce models based on his SG from Mike's Alice Cooper days. Hunter guitars. I found a close up of it on flickr
Oh and it was Dennis that brought the idea of forming a band to Alice. And it was Dennis who had the idea to do stage theatrics , Michael wrote a ton of songs , Glen who put West Side Story in Schools Out and on and on and on.
Alice is wonderful but the ACG was a band , not one person .
I'll agree that without the ORIGINAL group, then Vincent wouldn't be anywhere near as famous as he is now, because he didn't take it seriously at first, at least not seriously enough to become as big as he is now, but, the same goes for the band, without the 'ALICE COOPER' stage show, they probably wouldn't have gotten as far as they did.
Huh ? I mean , I love Alice , I think he is a great talent but ... the band, this band was full of talented people. They should have gotten another singer and. Somehow I think they tried to go with just the remaining members and they needed a great singer. Dennis finally found Ed Burns and he turned out a hell of a great record.
Anybody got a clue as to what model guitar Mike's playing lately? I think it's a Gibson, not sure what model. I've never seen it anywhere else....
